GD topic was demographic divident.... out of 12 only 5 was selected... it was as usual fish market.... A girl who spoke most got rejected and A boy who spoke in hindi got selected because his ponts was quite strong and relevent with topic...
PI process was a bullshit... they made us to wait for 3 hrs. and again language was not an issue. it was quite basic type interview. nothing was surprising except when he told me that it can be CASA job profile and chances are 99.99% .... so i decided i am not gona join ... my interveiw was quite good and m sure i ll get through.
i gave it today in chandigarh..... i discussed about job profile with HR who became quite friendly with me after ending of all GDPI process..she told me that icici bank wanted to become NO.1 bank till 2015 so it is reqruiting aggressively and most of PO going to get sales profile inbetween during my interview interviewer asked me R U COMFORTABLE WITH SALES JOB? HOW YOU WILL GET 30 SAVING ACCOUNTS FOR BANK IN ONE MONTH?
THE HR also told me that PO is very challenging profile as its all about sale and revenue only few gets operstion profile.
@shani13 Man its not about option its about life its about career... how old u r?? 23 24 25....... basically what i wanted to say is IF SOMEBODY THINKS HE CAN NOT DO SALES, CANT WORK 8AM TO 7PM, DONT LIKE TO RELOCATE,HAVE SOME PATIENCE AND WILL TO DO HARD WORK HE SHOUL GO FOR PSU BANKS RATHER THEN ICICI.
MIND MY WORDS, I DONT WANT TO DISCOURAGE ANY BODY BUT WANTED TO SAY take a life long decission DOnot go blindly... and most importantly understand your self ask your self can I do sales? CAN i roam all the day? can i bear pressure and chide of others for completing task? can i get people to the icici bank for opening an account ,for an insurance policy ? LAST BUT NOT LEAST FOR OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH ICICI BANK 1 HAS TO PAY 10200 RUPEES !!! CAN YOU CONVINCE A PERSON TO OPEN ACCOUNT WITH 10200 RUPEES WHERE AS HE CAN OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH OTHER PSU BANK BY PAYING ONLY 500 RUPEES?????

I am not sure they select me or not but one thing I would say ...its bit frantic ..why they put the question of sail ..even in banking system we have to do some sail ..it doesn't mean candidate capability measure on that basis ...and again same question reallocation ..if u put me in Punjab .den its sure am not able to muster 20 customer if u put me in my home town i can muster 100 customer with in a week .that's demoralizing factor ..do the job for them and if one is not able to handle pressure then he/she loose money and time too......many things revolving in my mind too ..I am not an authenticated person to decide right now ...but one should consider all the things .."SALE" this word have different meaning if one is in insurance business den life is hell sail insurance policies ...but if the cadre is right then explore the chances of progress ... I also heard different opinion from different people ...well ..lets see what happen ..these all things play role when one have confirmation letter 😃
after reading d above comments now m damn confused whethr to join d bank or nt if will get shortlisted............shud a mba frsher join dis programme,will it worth fr him........n bot d results wen i askd d interviewer dy said it will be out with in 7 to 8 days.......my gd pi was on 5th of march in pune n also dey didnt mention bot d hardcore sales work to ny of my freinds including me who were dere for the pi but yes in my opinion if u r working fr ny private bank den it wud be 80 prcnt sales in ny departmnt...........
if you r going to work in ny privat sector u will have a lot of shortcomings which u need to deal with..so if u want t0 succeed in lyf u can start from low nd yet might be d most successful if one has d determination to achieve it.......nyhow wat m sayin we shud not think so much at d start oderwise we wud end up on no man's land..wat i personally feel icici bank is a gud option to give a kick strt to one's career..
