@all guys My GD experience was good but regarding PI i was screwed ..
The overall process just took 2hours. Mine was 9:00AM in the morning ...
I went there by 8 30 . and at 8 45we were let in .
Firstly they asked for the required documents and we all submitted and they were having our Aptitude test marks sheet with questions and answers ...then we registered ourself there ..
After registering they called 10 members for GD
they told us to take a pen along with us ..I thought another written round Oh god!!
Then 10 ppl went inside a meeting room ..only one guy were sitting in the room ...he asked us to sit in the order ....then he gave blank sheet...then he told the topic for u guys are on power crash in india ..then every body started to right their points in the paper ...I too wrote some rubbish 😛
After that he told to start one gal started well ...then i waited for 5 members to finish talking ...then i started and quoted my discussion ...Every1 in the group accepted mine since it was different ..i told FDi would be allowed to invest in nuclear projects and other power sectors...like wise ....then the discussion continued i also participated in the discussion ...few ppl were quite just stating one line ..or one point ...The gal next to me doesnt even speak properly she was struggling to speak englishh even though she was selected because participating in the discussion is very important ... 6 out of 10 were selected in my group..
The success in clearing ICICI GD is that we have to key in new points which are out of the one given in the email also try to participate in discussion (even tho its fish market )lol ...dont just tell one point and keep quite ....u will regret then .....
My friend who was in the other group told that only5 ppl were selected out of 10 ....and in the other just 2 of the 10 .....On the average they are selecting 50% of the students in the GD ,,,
So Dont worry about the GD , its not a case study, general GD only ....
Here comes the tough part PI , in which i was screwed for 20minutes while others had only 5 minutes each ...
After completing the GD i was given a sheet in which declaration of non criminal something which need to be signed before the interview and only that sheet is allowed in the interview hall ...
I took those sheet and entered the interview hall ...Only one person were sitting there , i definitely know he is most senior person in the ICICI ....I was very casual ...
he asked me to tell abt my profile
i told him about my interest ext... but i also mentioned that im also good at leadership since i have organised in the symposium ...
Oh , then ur good at leadership
then i wil give u one scenario ur oraganiser and u have to oraganize a symposium tmro morning and u should invite speakers too ..
I kept silent for abt 5 sec and i told him that i would organize very well and with the help of juniors i will do the symposium grandly ..
He asked wat abt the budget ?
i told i would put entrance fees for the participants ( he laughed )
Okay , wat abt the speakers ?
I waited then told i would invite my college HOD's for the fn has speakers ...
he told hmm hmm ...
Then he asked abt my strengths ?
I told my strengths are my parents ...they supported me in every part of my life ...
Then he asked abt my weakness?
I told my weakness in sleeping for long time ,,
He laughed and told me "Good Good , atleast you accept while others dont "
He asked do u know about the ICICI bank ?
I told everything about the ICICI bank in WIKIPEDIA
He asked my parents annual income and he noted it ...
He asked wat were u doing since 2011?
I told i was preparing for bank exams
He told i know thats good but dint u go for job?
No sir i was just working as a part timer in one small IT company near my home,,,
Okay wat abt the placements in ur college ..?
I told i had poor percentage so i was not able to attend the campus interview ...
he told yeah i see
I asked all my percentages from 10th to 12th and noted it down ..
He asked whether u have any criminal cases on me
i told no and he noted that too
He asked me i did electronics and why here?
i told him that my parents forced me to become an engineer
and they told me to work in bank sector
so i chose ICICI which gives MBA plus job...
He asked will u work anywhere in INDIA will ur parents allow you ?
Yeah i told i would work anywhere and im easily adaptable to environment
He asked me do u know about the ICICI PO process?
yeah i told i know i explained abt bond salary training etcc..
Do you have any doubts ?
yes sir ...AActually there is 5 yrs bond . ..does the training period also includes the bond ?
yes u will have training for 1yr and 4yr job bond ...
Atlast he said
IN CASE UR SHORTLISTED WE WILL LET YOU KNOW THRU WEBSITE IN 15-20DAYS ALL THE BEST KINGSLEY.

and left the hall ....
I think i screwed up the interview ......I was the only person to be interviewd for 20 minutes..
somebody please tell me the things that are wrong in my interview ...
I think this should help other ppl who are gonna attend the GD/PI in the next few days ..

@kingsle i think ur interview have gone well......as the interviewer is friendly with u so ....may be he got a good impression frm u......and moreover he didnt asked any techinical terms relating to banking ...tht is strange.....n good 4 u.....so hope for the best .......
