You have been selected for this MBA under the "ICICI Business Leadership Programme".You will receive the Offer of Admission to the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme from NIIT University in due course. The following paragraphs specify the terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") applicable to the ICICI Business Leadership Programme:
1. The MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme has been specially designed by NIIT University consistent with the objectives of the ICICI Business Leadership Programme, and will be conducted with significant participation by ICICI Bank Limited ("ICICI Bank"). You will need to follow all the academic and disciplinary regulations of NIIT University ("Regulations of NIIT University"), as well as adhere to the Terms and Conditions contained herein. Failure to comply with either the Regulations of NIIT University or the Terms and Conditions will automatically disqualify you from continuation in the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme and also the ICICI Business Leadership Programme (including opportunities of Internship and placement with the Bank).
2. To pursue the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme, you are required to pay fees of 4.5 lakhs to NIIT University. This amount would be provided by ICICI Bank as a subsidized loan ("Loan", which term shall also include any interest or other charges payable as stated herein) at 2.5% interest per annum. All the selected students for MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme have to compulsorily avail the Loan from ICICI Bank.
The repayment of the Loan shall start upon your joining the services of ICICI Bank after successful completion of the MBA. There would be no recovery of EMIs or interest during the period of MBA education unless you fail to complete the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme or discontinue for any reason whatsoever. The EMIs for repayment of the loan would be spread over a period of 60 months to ensure that there is minimal impact on your monthly earnings.
For availing the Loan facility you are required to execute a Loan Agreement with ICICI Bank as well as furnish a Guarantee for repayment of the Loan (Loan Agreement and Guarantee form format will be sent separately), 25 days before the date of commencement of the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme, ie by October 4, 2011. The Guarantor details submitted would be scrutinised by the ICICI Bank, and enrolment would not be permitted for those students for whom the scrutiny is unfavourable.
Please note that you are necessarily required to avail of the Loan provided by the ICICI Bank, and you do not have the option of pre-payment or foreclosure of this Loan ahead of schedule. Any pre-payment or foreclosure by you will result in additional charges as may be made applicable by ICICI Bank.
3. At the time of enrolment for MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme at NIIT University, you are also required to furnish a relieving letter from your current employer as an evidence of your discontinuance from employment, or any other evidence establishing such discontinuance.
4. During the four terms (totaling one year) to be conducted on-campus at Neemrana in two phases (each of six months), you will be paid a monthly consolidated stipend of 10000/- per month by ICICIBank.
5. During the four terms (totaling one year) to be conducted outside the campus in two phases (each of six months), ie the Internship periods, you will be paid a monthly consolidated stipend of 50000/- per month by the Bank. Please note that you will have to make your own arrangements towards accommodation, food and other personal requirements during the Internship periods.
6. You will not be eligible for the internship and placement facilities, and related activities, applicable to other students of NIIT University as these elements are specially configured for you as part of the ICICI Business Leadership Program.
7. In the course of the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme, you will be assigned to one of the specialisation areas (currently available specialisations are in Corporate Banking, Risk Management or Information Technology) and your elective courses will depend on the specialisation assigned. Your preferences and your performance in the programme till date will be considered while deciding your specialization. The final allocation shall be made jointly by ICICI Bank and NIIT University in their own discretion and the same will be binding on you.
8. Other than what is stated in this document or communicated by NIIT University and/or ICICI Bank from time to time, your status as a scholar under the ICICI Business Leadership Programme will grant no other privileges different from other Post-Graduate students of NIIT University. You will be expected to participate in all activities and display the conduct and behaviour expected of all such students.
9. In the event of your discontinuation from the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme for whatever reason whether voluntary or otherwise, ICICI Bank would be entitled to forthwith recover the entire student-share of fees of 4.5 lakhs along with interest at the rate of 15% p.a from the date of disbursal till the date of discontinuation, and thereafter interest at the rate of 24% p.a till repayment of the Loan in full.
10. You may be assigned to any location within India for the four terms to be conducted outside the campus. Upon completion of the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme, you may be posted at any location in India or abroad, and you may be assigned to any of the companies of the ICICI Bank Group.
11. Provisional and final degree certificates issued by NIIT University upon completion of the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme will be retained by ICICI Bank until repayment of the Loan in full.
12. During the course of the programme, NIIT University and ICICI Bank would share with each other all available information about your academic performance & profile, personality, conduct and discipline, and would take decisions based on information available with either party.
13. On successful completion of the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme, you will join the services of ICICIBank in the grade of Manager Grade-II , with a compensation of about 15,00,000/- per annum () on Cost-to-company basis, on the terms and conditions governing the same and as communicated to you at that time. The detailed compensation structure in the grade, exact location of posting, date of joining, etc. will be informed by ICICI Bank at the appropriate time. Please note that all decisions with regard to your placement, compensation and ancillary issues will be in the sole discretion of ICICI Bank.
14. On successful completion of the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme , you will be required to work for ICICI Bank for a minimum period of 3 years. If for any reason you choose to leave the services of ICICI Bank within 3 years of joining, you will be required to reimburse 20 lakhs, towards cost of education and stipends paid and the opportunity lost for the organization. Please note that if you leave the service of ICICI Bank before repayment of the Loan, you will have to pay interest as applicable under Clause 9 above.
15. It is emphasized that the ICICI Business Leadership Programme and the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme are rare opportunities meant for students of outstanding calibre and commitment. Students are expected to demonstrate a professional personality consistent with the stature of the programme. Inappropriate conduct or attitude, and particularly lack of continuing & constructive involvement in the programme, or any lack of application, or any other professionally-undesirable behaviour, may lead to the immediate disqualification of the student from the ICICI Business Leadership Programme without prior warning, and consequently from the MBA (Finance & Banking) Programme as well.
