Hellooo puys....
I had my GD/PI in Delhi...it was fine experience...I reached the venue at 9..in delhi there is huge crowd i think on second day there will be 200-250 candidates for GD...So after registeration they put me in batch of 10 candidates..my topic was Shipping company..and it become fish market..and lots of guy become aggressive..finally they selected 4 out of 10...including me...
So i waited 5 hours guys ...then my turn of PI has come ..as i am chartered accountant and have 2 year of SBI expereince in credit , i know they were going to grilled me much..And that is what happened..they bombarded me question by question...like..
1. Why you want to do this course when u are already in banking.
2. Why textile industry is going down.
3. If i give u 100 crore which in which industry u will prefer and why.
4.Then some 9-10 financial and banking calculations question.( I messed up 3-4)
They bombarded all questions immediately...Then they asked do u have any
questions..so i asked u r offering only risk or IT where as it is mentioned in Advertisement that corporate will be there too..so they replied that it was Risk/Relationship so it will include the corporate..
So i left..it was ok ok experience..lets see ..ATB puys.....

Hi Paaji,
How many selected for PI out of 250?
Hi Puyz
So its time for us to start think abt the course and its future. The day when I first replied in PG I told one puy that there is lot of time left for us to think ahead. But the time has reached and we have to start thinking abt the viability of the course.Of course I do believe that once we show our interest in banking and finance we can aim at it after getting selected but wat abt other MBA'S.If we start comparing it with other MBA's then how welll d course will fit and wat are the outcomes of this course.Puys pls share your experiences and seniors pls reply as this is the right time for us to tie up our shoes.Once we start getting the results den believe me ur mind stops thinking and we will not be in a good position to think abt it as we can do it nw. So puyz lets share our views. Lets leave abt the option of thinking wat has happened, how many have attended, how many centres.Common puyz lets start thinking abt the futuristic option. It indeed helps others even we may get into it or not.

Agreed Theja.
But rite now only 1 ques everybody is having when results will be out?
Common amit let the result take its own time.Frankly speaking it will be declared within 20 days atmost. So lets stop thinking abt the result and start thinking one step ahead of it.Wat do u say.Lets share our views.

This is very obvious question. But after 5 yrs no one going to ask you from where you did MBA. Those who have inclination towards Banking and Finance,it is very good option.
I am from IT background, the MBA degree will in B&F; but specialization in IT. How? Overall the degree matter. What can IT guys expect from this course? ICICI will decide ur specialization ( my friend told me, she is doing the same course from NIIT). Suppose if i want to go in IT but they chose Corporate relation. Then there is no looking back. You do not have any other option but to do this. We all are going to invest our 5 precious years for ICICI. The end result matter the most.
We at least need to discuss theses things..but in a +ve manner.
i don't know why guys are so skeptical abut this course...anyone wouldn't get such an offer what ICICI is offering... getting a manager's role before turning 30 yrs of age is really a good break... guys in the IT sector find it difficult to move up the levels..but when offered through such a program think a lot...

Hi puyz
These are very gud posts which can help us in depth analysis abt the course.I did asked the lady from NIIT abt the clg and its accredition. She replied me saying that it is AICTE accredited and the course is really fantastic for finance guyz. But am basically a chemical engineer and i am looking out for a consultant sort of a thinh even before I had seen this advertisement. My dad is a Regional Branch Manager in Andhra Bank and he is continuously making me think abt the course by hinting at its merits and its wide scope all around the world.Coming to the 6 day week am in industrial sector where we work in shifts and its hard to say that even we need to app,y leave prior for the public holidays. But we can claim the COff.The basic thing which I want to clarify is that that doesnt make sense to me. But I was thinking abt the job scope and its competition, stress sort of things.Guyz or seniors plz try to clarify my doubt. One may feel that even bfore getting the results theja is so worried. But I want to think abt the next step way ahead of reaching there.Puyz pls suggest options for not only me but also all the current puyz abd the future puyz who read this thread in future.
Hi ,,

I just want to ask one question - how anybody can say that he is gud in this field and will not be gud in another field?Even in IIMs , only 20-30% people are getting gud jobs like more than 14 lakhs or gud profile.Even in IIM A , least package is 7-8 lakhs.
So we just need to see how can we get most of it from the opportunity which is in front of us.Where ever w will invest our 5 years , if we really do well then there is no stop for anybody.
