you didnt mention from where are you starting. btw i booked a cab yesterday and it took him (cab driver) 1 hr to drop me at the destination...i was there by 8:30.. the exact way dont know by myself also.. ALL D best

Today was my BMAT.. the experience was so so.. i reached @ 8:30 AM and gate was closed till 9:15am....there were 10 people as a whole, among which 5 wre from ICICI and 1 from TCS. After all registration formalities my exam started at 10AM.. all sections wre easy..but the time slot kept for each section, mainly airthematic was too short... you have to rush between the questions... there is no time even to blink..once section time is over, u can not come back to previous section... Regarding my test: i am not fully satisfied of my performance.. i ws not able to complete airthematic section... cant say anything abt my result yet .. :/

everyehere it wasa diff arrangement...in my centre in chennai it was so smooth...nearly 200 candidates were there and you could just walk in. 2-3 min fr registration and thn give ur test and go out...it was all smooth...
anyways nw just wait fr the best
Same experience in Pune. Though my slot was 5 pm, I reached by 4 and started my test at 4:15.

I gave BMAT on 22nd Jan in Ahmedabad. I received the mail regarding CV on the same day... There were around 45 people for the test there in Ahmedabad.
I know a few people who didn't receive the mails regarding CV.
So what do you think guys, in all how many of us actually wrote the test. What is the count..??

At somr center no of candidates were more than 200...like at pune center.
They had 6-7 slot in a day.
puys i feel tht the total no of candidates would be around 1500-2000 fr written test..so nw lets see...
btw i feel tht the result should come by late tonite as they had mentioned abt the result being delivered by 25th

I think total number of candidates are around 5000-6000.
We have 13 centers,5 days test,4 slots per day(on an average)
lets consider 25 per slot so it would be-13*5*4*25=6500 total

For 120 seats they should call atleast 720 ppl for GDPI. 720 out of 6000 is a good ratio. 12 out of every hundred will be called for GDPI.
They will call in 1:20 or 1:30 ratio.
After GD it will become somewhere 1:7 or 1:8.
Dont expect the aptitude paper to differentiate anyone. Unless a person leaves a section completely...rest assured that person will called.
There is no diff in the way ICICI goes about selecting for MBA and PO.
Note: This is based on last yr's exp.

Also I have seen some ppl in last year posts in same thread who were not selected in written. I dont think it will be so easy to get through this written. Max I expect is they will call everyone above a particular cutoff limit rather than fixing no. of candidates to be called for GDPI.

yes agreed...im currently reading the past posts and many were not called fr GD..so definately some criteria would be there...also you all would agree tht the test was damn simple & everyone would be scoring above 90% ...so this makes it all the more competitive
Any idea as to when the result will be declared? I think it should come by today.. As today is the last batch for BMAT..
The invitation letter clearly mentions :
Those who clear the aptitude test will be invited for the group discussion and personal interview process between 2nd to 4th February 2012. Details for the same will be provided by 26th January 2012.
So, puys just hold your horses for few more hours and you will get to know abt it.
puys,just got a call from Icici hr asking/telling I didnt appeared bmat 22nd, but i did. I told him tat i have given the exam,and why he is asking, ho told tat they are calling everyone and hanged the phone. I called back after 15 min toget clarrified,same guy picked the phone and told there was atechnical glitch and its ok now ur information is showing.guys not understanding wat is happening. did any oneelse got such call???
