In this group,saw some hot debates on NDA 2 vs UPA era.Some of the folks are supporting an UPA rerun because of lesser number of govt job or banking sector vacancies.Now since we are govt job aspirants,or probably in govt jobs already,and seeking better ones,certainly we shall judge the govt based on the number of jobs it offers us.In a broader sense,we are judging the govt on the number of jobs being created in organised sector.But understand this,the govt cannot give jobs to crores of Indians.At the best,it can give jobs to a few lakhs more,that also at the cost of huge exchequer drain.But since our own salaries are safe and secure till the day of superannuation,we cease to care as to the broader impacts of what job doleout can bring on the economy.Way back in 2007-08,UPA 1 enacted huge increments after the 6th pay commission.Economists now blame this same pay commission for the spiralling inflation that happened later on.As a result,by the fag end of UPA 2 in early 2014,cost price inflation was at a staggering 9.9% !
