Guys do doubt hai Notification ke time seats 3500 thi aur four banks (indian,iob,dena,PNB) ne apni seats report nhi ki thi. notification mai "NR" likha hua tha. Lekin ab tak toh unhone seats report kar di hogi! Agar har bank apni 100 seats bhi report kare toh 4000 seats ho jaegi! Am I right??

Bhai. Koyi advice dijiye bhai. I have completed MBA and preparing for government jobs. I have recently selected for Business Analyst. Is it advisable to join and prepare for jobs. Or leave it and concentrate on preparation?
I posted this a few days back. Now I am reposting this again to give some motivation which is very essential at this moment. Don’t loose hope. For the people that were absent that time, they will definitely like this. Those who have already read this, its upto them :: read again or just ignore it.
Last yr ke logics ke hisab se sb final cut off +19 bol rhe hain. Jo ki bilkul sach hai. Aur ye sach isliye hai kyunki pehle exam 200 marks ka hota tha. Aur exam ke baad interview hota tha.
But now exam aur interview ke beech me Descriptive, GD jaise elements add hue hain. For now GD ke effect ko ignore krte hain kyunki ye IBPS me nhi hota. Lets talk about the effect of descriptive(25 marks).
The effect of descriptive is that cut off now is evaluated out off 225 rather than 200. When 200 is scaled to 80, 200/80=2.5 marks are scaled to 1 mark. When 225 is scaled to 80, 225/80=2.8125 marks are scaled to 1 mark.
What is the point ?? Let say we have 2 candidates A and B. A scored 22.5 marks more than B. Now if exam is of 200. When scaled to 80, A scored 22.5/2.5=9 marks more than B. But if exam is of 225 marks, A scored 22.5/2.8125=8 marks more than B. I hope now u got the point. The more the total marks the lesser will the gap in range of marks scored by students after scaling.
Now we are seeing that a candidate who just scored the cut off marks needs 19 in interview to secure a seat. But the point u r not getting is that previously the exam was of 200 marks.
Now, see 19*2.5=47.5
If total marks are 200 then this 47.5 margin is equivalent to 19. if total marks are 225, this margin is equivalent to
47.5/2.8125=16.9 (approx)
Adding 29.15+16.9=46.05 ( i.e something b/w 46 and 47).
Now taking the worst case:: 20/20 marks in interview
20*2.5=50
If total marks are 200 then this 50 margin is equivalent to 20. if total marks are 225, this margin is equivalent to
50/2.8125=17.8(approx)
Adding 29.15+17.8=46.95( i.e something b/w 46 and 47).
So whenever elements such as Descriptive or GD are inserted in b/w exam and interview phase cut off will surely decrease because total marks will increase and the diff in b/w candidate marks will decrease after scaling.
Proof:: I am taking the SBI PO exam. The scheme was (written+descriptive):(GD+PI)=75:25. A candidate who just scored the cut off needed 20/25(approx) in GDPI to secure a seat. Now if scheme would have been 80:20. Then 20/25 can be changed to 16/20. And scaling 250 marks to 80 we get 250/80=3.125. Here 3.125 marks are scaled to 1. Here we see if exam is of 250 marks, then 16 is required in interview. But agr exam 200 ka hota, then
16* 3.125=50
50/2.5= 20
Now 20-16=4 this decrease in 4 marks is seen because of addition of Descriptive and GD.
