following are some numbers which might interest you...
Total UR candidates who got FINAL offers ----> 4443
Final cut off UR ---> 39.9/100 for 4443 selections
Candidates (UR) between 39.90 and 43.00 marks ---> 3005 Candidates (UR)
between 43.01-47.00 marks ---> 1239 Candidates (UR)
with final score > 47.00 ---> 199
So if there were 1750 UR vacancies last year FINAL cut off would have been somewhere around 42.5/100 ........(1)
Last year mains cut off was 52.5 (UR).
Average marks in descriptive will be around 15.5 this year.
So let's assume last year cut off = 68
due to change in exam level and vacancies
This year mains cut off 82 (UR).
So, Difference in final cut off from last year = 14/225×80= 4.97 .......(2)
Add point (1) and (2)
So, Final cut off will be around 47.47
