They asked me a stupid question when I told them that I was a civil engineering graduate. The question had nothing to do with civil engineering. I got silent and told them that I didn't know the answer. They jeered at me saying that I must have answered since I was a graduate in civil engineering. In the introduction, I mentioned that my father was a professor of Sanskrit language and I was passionate about writing. To that, he asked me to recite a verse metioned in Manusmriti. I couldn't answer that as well. A lady sitting on the extreme left asked me what I knew about Bandhan Bank. In my reply I said that it was a bank headquarted in Kolkata which dealt in Microfinance. Later she asked me what Microfinance was. I replied but she didn't seem satisfied at all. They murmured among themselves. It was a very saddening experience for me. I know many had a wonderful experience. Just a slight ray of hope for me that I have cleared IB ACIO pre. I must focus on that, else I will remain unemployed. I just wish I had done well in interview.

Does it matter if in interview one is not able to ans questions related to technical portion but answered banking related questions? Kya wo iss basis pe judge krte hai ki technical se ans Ni kar paye? Will it go negative?
