Arwachin Intl School: Have written this to ibps
My PO mains exam was scheduled to be held at Arwachin International School at Dilshad Garden in New Delhi at 09:00 AM. However, I could only attempt the exam for the first 30 minutes due to the following reasons:
1. The exam centre began the entry at 8:20 AM. Thus, it was practically impossible for them to conduct id verification, security checking, biometric registration, attendance of about 300-400 girls present at the venue in just under 40 minutes.
2. Half of the systems were not connected to the server. There was only one person who was setting up everyone's computers.
3. Upon questioning on the mismanagement, candidates were misinformed that the exam was scheduled to start at 10 AM. Because of which, when the countdown appeared on the screens at 10 minutes to 9 AM, most of the candidates started panicking.
4. The place soon turned into a fish market. A few of us, who could begin our exam were asked to shift+esc after 5 minutes, by the personnel present at the centre.
5. After an hour of confusion and frenzy, we were again asked to log in and start the exam. Even though the chaos had not subsided, we continued to give our exam in the middle of all the ruckus with whatever focus we could gather.
6. At 10:45 AM the staff again turned off the server, only to never set it up again.
7. The centre management was absolutely non-cooperative. We were finally returned our admit cards at 1 PM.
I kindly request you to conduct a re-exam of the candidates at this centre as a whole year of hard-work has gone down the drain. This is the last attempt for many candidates and it would be totally unjust if they would have to give up on their dream to become a Probationary Officer on account of Centre's mismanagement.
