Guys I got the following reply from http://cgrs.ibps.in/ in reference to a complaint I registered. “Noted " . . What should I expect? On 9th Nov I registered the following complaint. Dear sir/madam, I am an IBPS PO and IBPS clerk aspirant and I have also applied for the same. But at the time of preliminary exam of ibps po when the invigilators were verifying the admit card with the voter ID, I was disallowed to enter the exam hall because in admit card my name was reversed, i.e. My name in admit card was written as "ASAD MOHAMMAD SHEIKH" instead of "SHEIKH MOHAMMAD ASAD". After a lot of explaining the invigilator allowed me to enter the exam hall but he advised me to rectify that mistake. I don't know how to go on with that. Because my surname is “SHEIKH" and my fisrt name is "ASAD" but my full name is written as "SHEIKH MOHAMMAD ASAD" and in all my documents and certificates it is written as such, and it is not necessary that surname/last name should always be written at the end and first/given name should be written at the beginning. In many parts of Asia, as well as some parts of Europe and Africa, the surname is placed before a person's given name. Same is the case with me. This problem is caused because there is no 'full name' column in application forms of IBPS . I remember that when I filled the form for opening a bank account there were separate columns for first, middle, last and full name when I received the passbook my name was correctly written. So I request you to please add a full name column in the application forms. Lastly and most importantly please suggest me what should I do for my upcoming exams of IBPS PO and IBPS clerk, so as to avoid any trouble because of error in name. GUYS PLEASE REPLY IF ANYONE KNOWS....IBPS PO MAINS reporting time is 8:00 AM , will the exam start by 9:00 AM and finish by 12:30 or will it start by 9:30 and finish by 1:00 ....also i guess it will take additional half an hour to exit the center due to biometric verification..... also the descriptive section will start straight away after the paper or not?......any word would be helpful
