from where to prepare for Banking awareness ???
if IBPS decides to follow in the footsteps of SBI , and based on prelims , I think it will not just follow , but actually get 2 steps ahead of SBI in the main paper...then keep the following things in mind-
1) interview mei 20/50 aaenge ...aisa mankr mains k lie prepare krna
it sounds low..but it is the reality
2) gk gk gk gk ...ye hee pass krwaega..humar gk kamzor thee par angrezi theek hai to ho gya..par nothing can replace 30 marks in gk !!! so the 10% of the test givers who think gk k bina ho jaega..padh le na bhai logo..
bhut sare murkh sirf gk k base par select ho gye hai..reeks of ssc -ness...sigh
3) mains k paper ko uski due izzat dena...ek bar fata fat sare questions dek lena paper k.. fat jae to 2 min fatwa lena..then gain composure ...and pick the right questions to do..kitna bhi hard ho ..cutoffs bhut jyada kam ni jaengi overall..

Didn’t get selected in sbi po . Got 46 ,cutoff was 46.59. I think life always teach you lessons. I will fix all the weaknesses for PO 7. Attempted 72 in PO pre and already have started preparing for MAINS. Canara Bank i am coming. 😉😉😉

Today with the bank Recap announcement,i was pondering over one thing.Anyone is free to counter or reject my proposition,but I think Raghuram Rajan was just a hype .His successor Urjit Patel is doing things far better than he ever could(though Bank recap is not the decision of Urjit patel,I am speaking of general economic trends,like BOP,Revenue def,Fiscal Def,CPI at 1.9% ,back from 11 % in last phase of UPA 2,Jan 2014).Infact I am not blaming or trying to malign Raghuram Rajan,but he did govern the RBI at a time which is the worst phase of Indian economy(2010-14),in terms of rising inflation,gloomy economic scenario,receding investments and what not.Again when the UPA 1 govt chose to give away useless money doleouts like NREGA or 6th pay commission,Raghuram Rajan never bothered to interfere.Any sensible economist,leave alone a harvard or MIT phd,would have atleast objected to these poor economic decisions by UPA 1,which sent inflation on a gallop,along with fuelling of rampant corruption due to poor monitoring of NREGA.In contrast with that phase,the current govt is taking bold financial reforms and sanctioning huge infra projects(like the Rs 7 lakh crore Bharat Mala project or Rs 11 lakh crore SagarMala) ,and not wasting money buying votes with NREGA type doleouts.But what i am trying to point out is that while the current Rbi governor Urjit Patel is supporting and standing by the economic reform phase ,the erstwhile governor Rajan never bothered to question bad economic policies of UPA 1 and particularly UPA 2.Throughout the phase till 2014,he remained silent,and after 2014 loksabha,suddenly he started making political statements against the incumbent govt.Its like u remain a mute spectator at the thief who was stealing infront of ur eyes(UPA 2),and then start throwing doubts at your newly arrived neighbour for no reasons or for all the wrong reasons.The transition was pretty interesting.Hence to all my Indian friends here,my suggestion is that we should judge a person not by the lustre of degrees that follow him,but by his quality of work and his neutrality.A kind of fake aura always sarrounded Rajan,and that was fuelled to a large extent by the intelligentsia who never otherwise bothered to check the data and review the work he was actually doing as RBI gov.

U guyz gave me really very good suggestion on 'how to prepare for reasoning'. thnx to @rookie9 n @ppppprodeep ..just one more doubt i m really weak in the GRAMMAR portion of the ENG section..the main problem is that when i read ch.1 of WREN MARTIN ,they refer some part of the ch.1 to ch.'x'...and when i read a ch.'x' they refer some part of it to ch.'x+n'...so it becomes a problem. and the same is with most of the grammar books....PLEASE tell me the way to get rid of this problem..
55/200 in objective and 32/50 in descriptive. 87/250 cutoff 89.25 not selected in sbi po mains
attemted 31/35 in quant 19/35 in reasoning and 24/30 in english in ibps po prelims 2017. i am definitely through.
