Candidate list is out..but I have a doubt. I kept my 1st option as Andhra bank. My score is 52.6...I can see many guys having less than 52.6 got Andhra bank, but I was allotted IOB..even 2nd option PNB is not given... I saw the list and cross verified all the PWD candidates...only two guys qualified above general cutoff...and their roll numbers are different.They are not reserved candidates coz, even reserved list starts from merit. Is everything transparent in IBPS or am I missing something? Check your allotment too...!!

What the hell. . My 2 pref was IDBI. But I didnt got it, I got my 3 pref instead. Many have got less marks than me in that list. In fact there is a huge gap. How is it possible??
This i didn't Understand. I got Pnb against Unreserved Category. Lots of guys getting higher marks den me, got Pnb in reserved category
To those who are confused on how a guy with lower mark got a better bank.. It depends on the category. Check the 4th & 5th charcacters of roll number..

IBPS has made a fool for unreserved class. Guys this is a very big mistake. let me explain how and I bet you all will agree. Let us have an example of ECGC. It has 9 vacancies under unreserved category. The cutoff for ECGC UR is 63.20( in list declared on 16 april) and the roll num is 2181306832 . Now a different guy 1290900818 comes under OBC category and has got ecgc as in OBC seat only with a score of 60.00. But his total score is more than 49.60 (that is the minimum score of selected candidate as a PO with UR category). Now see 1290900818 is still a OBC guy but 1 seat from overall UR is devoted to it. total seats in ibps po 4 for UR is 7365. So overall 5 candidates being awarded seats under categories but marks more than 49.60 are treated as unreserved. This is a double games of IBPS. Seat to obc/sc/st ki hai but mili genral se hai. nothing could be more stupid than this. 5 seats short me waste hai genral ki only in tha case of ECGC with just 9 total seats.
If my calculations are correct than irrespective of selection under category but marks more than 49.60, IBPS has by mistake alloted seats to 1500-1600 such students. It is a very serious mistake and if U can understand the concept than u can see Unreserved have got only 5800 seats this year in IBPS po-4( as per the list updated on 16 april).
For those who are still confused, out of 7365 selected UR candidates there are 199(SC), 12(ST), 1380(OBC) and 5774(GEN).

Allotted PNB with a score of 59.4 .. How is place of posting decided?
Guys, I have gone thorugh the comments regarding clarification of allotment procedure. However, I am still not clear about the actual process that they adopted.
I want to take an example of idbi:
175 seats for UR category and only 150 roll nos are there in UR list. Out of 150, OBC/ SC/ST candidates are also considered in UR (as they have cleared UR cut-off, which is 49.60). This is understood. But how come that out of 150, 110 are OBC candidates and only 20 are general category candidates.
I will be really thankful if someone could help to resolve my query.

I don't wanna start reservation debate,don't wanna heart anyone's sentiments,but feel really hurted to see one of my friend ,who is a civil engineer in a govt department and openly says he is given 6-7 lakhs of commision,per year for projects,but the real catch is he still applies applies from NC OBC layer,i didn't understand on what basis he is 'non creamy',this happens only in our 'incredible india.'

why did they alloted me BOM (7th prefrence) at 51.20 but my first prefrence is BOI but many candidate at 50.00 got BOI (how can this happen) in unreserved list
