IBPS PO IV (2014-2015) Written Exam Results Out

Can anyone please highlight the difference between AO-IT (insurance companies) and SO-IT (banks).....bcoz I don't see any.

Wrestlemania bhi farzi nikal gaya. Koi Jacky bhagnani ya Tushar kapoor ki movie release ho rehi hai kya?

So read a funny post telling ppl that banks are detaching themselves from IBPS and are going to recruit from MANIPAL PO PROGRAMME.

There are 25 Banks who have MOU's with Manipal out of which 14 are PSB's.

But only BOB is the active bank which has been recruiting from Manipal programme among PSB's since last 3 to 4 years and all other PSB's either they have not recruited from it or they have done once.

PNB did it during PO 1 after that they never took it seriously coz it was a waste of time for them.

Andhra Bank did it during PO 2 after that they also stopped and same way others have done it once and now they have stopped doing it.

So apart from BOB others tried it once and they didn't liked it.

IDBI and Syndicate were freshers last year to this type of programme.

None of this interfered or created shortage of vacancy through IBPS.So no need to panic or pay attention to such sh!ts.

You can check the banks having MOU's with manipal here:

"LAST MINUTE MOTIVATION

" Guys, I'm a silent observer of this and many other sites. For past few months, I've been deeply analyzing the blogs, comments, predictions & all the other stuffs that has been said [including the previous years' statements].

And as we are now at the edge of the END, I think it's high time now that I should write this, that I've observed:

These days,if anyone is much more tensed and excited than any other thing in this planet, then it must be the IBPS PO/MT IV Successful Candidates. Although they already know that final result won't be coming before the 1st week of April, yet everyday they are searching various sites, blogs, forums, discussions etc. only in a hope of getting something from somewhere that can provide them with 'a piece of string' to live life tenseless.

"LET ME TELL YOU. I'M TOO ONE OF YOU ALL"

Those with the low scores in the Online Written are in a kind of state of dilemma for these days[low scores here means who are below 95]. I would like to ask them to think atleast once about those who are in the range of 82 and 83; and I can assure you that there are K's n K's of candidates in between this range.

Now, the point I'm writing this note is to tell you all that you might be predicting your "being PO future" based on the last years' marks and cutoffs, Isn't it? You all might be thinking that last year, the one with the score of 61(in UR) didn't got the job at all, because by looking at the cutoff (of 42.20 min.) it is evident that he had to score 90 in the interview to crack; and as it is widely said that last year the highest interview marks was 75 , so there was no way those guys grabbing the seat, Right? [But believe me, the highest marks in the Interview was not only 75].

Guys, you all know that this year the IBPS has made an alteration in one of it's key rule & i.e. of "not showing the online written marks to the successful candidates before the interview". And, I must say that this particular decision is and can be a game changer in itself.

Now, the question arises is, what had made IBPS Board make this new rule? There could be following reasons:

 With low score in the written, a candidate might lose hope and can do a blunder in the interview; although he may be a brilliant candidate. So the organization might lose a talented candidate who could be a fruitful employee for the organization in the future.

 The Interview panel might get biased towards the High-Scorers of the written, because they might think that the one with the high scores must be a good candidate and thus can underestimate the Low-Scorers. And as it is known, that the last year the Panels' didn't questioned the Interviewee that much as compared to this year; this time they did not had any other option other than testing the real ability of the candidate and give the costly marks according to it.

"The Board Members in the IBPS must be knowing that anyone by taking Classes and Coaching can secure overwhelming marks in these exams. But, he might not be that kind of employee which they are looking for, and which can only be known practically by Interviewing them".

And by taking into account this particular decision of IBPS ,one can say that this time the one with the boundary marks in the written ,if their interview has gone well, if they'd answered the panel confidently, they've a better chance of being in the last list.

I'm not underestimating the High-Scorers. They definitely have an upper hand towards the Low-Scorers. And if they've also done well in the Interview, then they can also see them in the final list.

But, the one and only soul of writing this article is to motivate and inspire the Low-Scorers of the Written exam. I'm quite sure that they more or less must have nailed the Interview & this time even the new rules and fortunes are too in their way.

And, I personally think that the one who has scored less in the written & did brilliant in the Interview are the Real & Raw Candidates, who has not taken any such classes, who has not prepared for more than 2-3 months for this exam, who has passed his/her first competitive exam just after graduation, solely on their own Hard work and Capability.

So guys, If you deserve, if you are worth of this Job, you'll definitely get it this time. "One Should Never Underestimate The Power Of Oneself".

                                                                                   Regards, Amrit Jha

[P.S. I don't need any useless comments and replies. This is my own view, my own opinion, and everyone should respect the other's part. Read it once more & think].

someone posted in fb

guys i want to share some info with u all.look ibps has passed 48800 candidates in bank po exam. take 1800 of sbi po out from this so nearly 47000 candidates have appeared in interview(i don't know how much were absent). than if there are 23000 vacancies(let's assume) than they will be alloted in the first round. then 47000-23000= 24000 left of all categories. now as per ibps notification reserve list comprise of 10 percent of each category. so 10% of 23000= 2300. so ibps will be able to fetch 2300 candidates from remaining 24000 candidates who were not alloted in first round. it's simple. another info is that there is no 1:3 ratio mentioned in advt.  and ibps is making the process easy for itself year by year. he has nothing to do with 1:3. i know questions will be raised but i don't mind as they are only human instincts. all the best to everyone.

some guy posted on BA that he has seen in some news paper that this year question from history science and geo question will be asked in ibps gk section... is thei true or just a rumor?????? 😧 😧 😢 😢
