Now I have been posting Banks Expansion during 2014-15 whole day,and banks will open more branches in 2015-16 in a huge no. coz of certain BASEL 3 and coz of Narendra Modi's PMJDY,I am not here supporting any party but i think everyone should be thankful to this NDA Govt. coz upcoming 5 years are coming up with huge vacancies coz of it's certain plans.

I have filled BMB as my 2nd preference right below PNB (plz don't ask why , I know it is pretty foolish but the damage is done).. My marks in written are 100 and interview was okayish.. So if I make into the final list the odds of getting BMB are pretty high.
So any information regarding this bank is welcome (except for the routine GK type info which is present all over the internet).
There have been more expansion plans like Dena Banks of 150-200 branches in 2014-15.
Watch out for Indian Overseas Bank whose CMD wants the bank to be among top 5 bank and he has brought it to 7th from 11th on performance basis.
Another bank to Watch out is UCO Bank which has gained from sanctions and has been performing well,can expect similar or more vacancy then last year(last year was 1300).As it's CMD said on end of 2013 we will be doing things in a year,what we did in 10 years.So expect something here!!

Banks require dynamic personalities who can handle business cum interpersonal relationships VERY well. So a guy who has the least score has an EQUAL chance for selection in comparison to a guy having high score .
This is NOT school , guys , where you do "ratta mar" / mug up and you are praised on your memory retention and practicing-the-same-problem-over-and-over-again type abilities.
So guy with low scores, CHILL! If the panel thought that you can bring more business for the banks, they will hire you ( by giving you exceptionally good marks in the interview).
I am not against guys with high scores per se. So please guys, be PATIENT and stop flashing your High scores and demoralizing low scorers.
If you are not good in communication skills and are not comfortable tackling pressure scenarios ( they test you in these two areas mainly in the interview) then why waste time giving the bank exams year after year?
Prepare your communication skills first, and as it is with any skill, the more you practice it, the better you will become at it.
I see guys here who are so called 'veterans' of PO exams posting comments in shitty English and in SMS lingo.
Do you really think a client who is worth millions of rupees worth of business to the banks will enjoy talking with you guys and subsequently get impressed by your lack of basic language skills ? Do you think that the panel could not see through your 'lack of preparation' ?
My father studied in a Hindi medium school and he is the most eloquent speaker I have ever been in contact with and a veteran of grammar and English in particular.
So guys with Hindi medium can also do it . It is just a matter of practice.
Please stop dispensing advice in English if you cannot even use the computer to do a spell check and it is better you write in Hindi instead and side by side develop your language skills.
Anything is possible, if you have the RIGHT GOAL and a RIGHT MINDSET for it.
