PROMOTION AND RECRUITMENT PLAN FOR 2015-2016

We have been receiving queries from the members regarding promotions and recruitments for the year 2015-16. We wish
to inform the members that we have already addressed a letter to the management suggesting various amendments /
relaxations in the Promotion Policy, based on the feedback from the members and have requested for a meeting to discuss
the same. As regards to the fresh recruitments, we wish to inform the members that as per the Recruitment Plan for the
year 2015-16 approved by the Board of Directors, the Bank proposes to fill in 2950 vacancies of officers, including specialist
officers, in the year 2015-16. Out of proposed 2950 vacancies 2350 will be by recruitment of direct officers where as 600
will be by promotion from clerical cadres. It may be noted that 723 officers will be due for retirement on superannuation
in the year 2015-16. The bank also proposes to recruit 2400 Probationary Clerks and promote 250 from Sub Staff to
clerical cadre apart from 120 vacancies earmarked for compassionate appointments. Though, the proposed recruitments
are not in commensurate with the business growth and the branch expansion of the Bank, after factoring the existing shortage,
we hope, with this recruitment, the shortage of officers in the Bank will be eased atleast to some extent.
Bankersadda admin has asked people to be ready with success stories.....of both PO & Clerk...does it mean that results will come soon.(as BA ppl have some internal sources in ibps..) ?
My po score 89.in interview they said you have answered all question properly.we all impressed from you.what are my chances.I am from Punjab .interview in Ludhiana. What can I expect.
puys hw long did it take for the interview process of NIA.. i mean hw long did you guys had to stay there??? actually i am having interviews of both NIA(ENGG) and IBPS SO on the same day.. 1st one at 8.30am and 2nd one at 1.00pm...is it possible to attend both??
IBPS has not released the result or final marks for the PO..... What if a person who has already got selected in PO attends the SO interview and get selected in that also..... He has to choose either one and one vacancy is unfilled right.... If they release the marks earlier then some people will not attend the Specialist officer interview.... So why IBPS is not releasing the PO Marks before the SO interview starts????? I'm just curious and confused..... What was the procedure last year, was the PO results declared before SO interview????
