The Oriental Insurance Company Ltd has already issued the notification for the recruitment of Administrative officer Scale - I. There are total 246 vacancies under various departments. Online examination will be held on May 15, 2015. A candidate should know the exam pattern, to qualify and score well in the exam. So to help in your preparation, we are providing you the pattern of the A.O. officer Scale - I exam.
Oriental Insurance, Administrative officer Scale - I Exam selection process based on two phases:
1. Online Exam: Candidates who qualify the online Examination will be shortlisted for Interview on the basis of overall marks scored in objective and descriptive section taken together against full marks of 200.
2. Interview
Online Exam Pattern:

Important note:
1. The total marks of the examination will be 200.
2. Total Duration of the exam - 120 minutes for objective test and 45 minutes for descriptive test.
3. The descriptive English Test will be conducted only through online mode. Questions will be displayed on the screen of your computer. Answers are to be typed using the keyboard. Before start of typing answers to questions in Descriptive Paper please check all key functions of the keyboard. You will get 45 minutes to answer the questions.
3. There will be negative marks for wrong answer, 1/4th of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
4. Candidates have to qualify each section of the objective paper.
5. Descriptive paper will be checked only of those candidates, who will qualify the objective test.
6. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the online examination will subsequently be called for an Interview by the company, up to three times the vacancies of respective discipline/category.
Educational qualification: Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 28.02.2015.
For Generalist Stream, a candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
