To temper the effects of the merger, the Govt. may promise non-closure of branches like in the case of BOB-Vijaya-Dena. So, advertised vacancies may not be cancelled but it would likely impact Reserve list vacancies as well as the ones banks(like PNB) may have added before final allotment next year.

je kaisa gift diya indian govt. ne,..........this will really effect the current ongoing and upcoming bank vacancies, as we seen BOB (with VIJAY+DENA)... n 0 vacancies reported by this bank....woowwwwwwww such a huge vacancies for us as an bank aspirant...

hope leke baitha tha ki ibps rrb po ka result ayega aaj, but ye toh nuclear blast se kam nhi. as this amalgamtion will be done b\w april 2019-20 (in this financial year).

Hllw bhaion. Abhi news aai h ki banks me merger ho RHA h. M 2018 ibps po ki waiting list me hu. 0.05 marks se miss hua tha. To Kya merger k bd hmare result pr b asar pdega??? Plz reply. Bhut tnsn ho rhi h. Please kisi ko PTA h to bta do Bhai. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Ab jo Sbi merger ka Example de rhe ho wo smjhe ki Sbi bda bank hai aur wo chote- chote bank se merge hua, vacancy pe asar jb pdega when bde bank jinki dono ki branch hai ek hi jgh toh unme se ek ko close krna hoga

Well guys i think merger ko lekr jayda chinta krne ki jaroorat nahi kissi ko..iss saal ke ibps po ki vacancies aa chuki h issme jisko jitni seats deni thi ye already mentioned h aur issme koi change nahi hoga..soo plz calm your nerves and preparation pr focus rakho..iss merger ka effect jo dikhna h wo next dikhega filhal.. keep calm and take a chill pill!!👨‍🏫👩‍🏫
