Got Allahabad bank after getting 86.63 in mains exam. Got 74 in interview. CONGRATULATIONS all the selected candidates.
Hii Friends , just wanted to clear your doubt. Many people were concerned that if they fail you in the interview ? And the answer is YES . Because They Failed me in the interview ,just gave 5 marks . I was asked 1.SARFAFAESI ACT and it's sections , which I couldn't tell (sections) 2. Contract Act & it's sections , I said IDK 3. Maximum home loan tenure I told them 4. Maximum Saving deposit rate , I was confused if they asked about RD FD or Basic Savings I told them 3.5 to 4 % . 5. Which private sector bank has maximum Saving deposit rate and what % ? I told them kotak Mahindra but could not tell the rate I said don't know exact rate but it's around 7 % 6. Negotiable Instrument Act and what are it's sections , I told the act but couldn't tell sections 7.under which section housing loan comes , I told them retail banking section, They asked me why retail banking is now given more emphasize, I told them due to direct relationship with customers there is high chance of cross selling , we can pitch the customers about our products, they said just pitching the product will do , I said they could be persuaded bringing business to banks , 8. What do you think about bank employees work pressure? Do they work freely or under pressure? I was trying to be diplomatic I said sir it depends on branch , they interrupted and asked say either yes or no , I said yes sir they do have a bit pressure ( since I told them my sister is already a banker so they asked me) 9. Is there any scheme that government provides loan above 100 cr without any Collateral ? I was blank , I didn't know , I thought for 5 seconds and said sorry sir I don't know .... One member got annoyed and said what do you know then ? I was quiet he again asked the same . I told them I prepared basin bankings , current events ...he was annoyed, Then I left for post biometric, the other panel candidate was also done with her interview, she was also there for biometric, I asked her how was it , she told me that they asked me nothing much just personal questions and that's it , around 5-6 mins , I was grilled for 18 mins , And I felt discriminated as the future of candidate depends on those 5 members' mood , I couldn't make it to PO , but I managed to crack SO marketing in BOI and I am happy .
