Anyone from Lucknow? How to reach 'Grand JBR, Community Park, Viraj Khand-4, Viraj Khand, Gomti Nagar' From aashiyana Chauraha

READ it once more with patience. as it is very long but Who knows this might save your 2 marks which might help you on 1st april.

All together the last post on interview tips. Wish you all good luck and hope that the below suggestions work for you.

To Begin With. Interview Tip1:  write about yourself. Your name, place, education, family, school, college, district, state, rivers dams(if famous),your area famous for. your hobby(if any). write all these things and make a tree and see what all questions can come out of it. write the answers to those what you think you will give. again see what are the portion you are answering might have another counter questions. your own answers will take the interview forward. (but exceptions are always there and some might get a direct question on any thing random) . This is a general proceess and 70 percent of the candiadtes face similar pattern of interview. once you make a tree you will have at least 20-30q. always think what a counter question can come and how will you answer those that no more questions come. think where you want a counter question to be asked so that you can show your strength there and think where you dont want a counter question which may expose you to weak postion. think it through. We will meet soon with TIP 2.

As goes the first tip these suggestions are also generic one and should be taken care irrespective of your academic or work profile. Before I proceed further one thing I would like to tell that if you have a very good mains mark then you will sail through easily even if you don’t score well in interview. But even if you have scored well in mains I think you would not want to get bad marks in interview. So a suggestion for everyone but depends on you to take it or not.

What are we discussing here:

Eye Movement and body gestures and temperament to handle pressure situation. Some of you might be facing it for the first time and some of you might be working in IT or other sectors. The later ones think that they are already working in world class organizations and they need no help on that and the former ones might be thinking who the hell cares on these things, if I give correct answers they will get impressed. Both type of candidates are correct in their view points. But you need to understand the context of this interview first.

For experienced guys(other than those currently working in PSB as clerks), Don’t think that this is the same interview as your current sector interview as if they are only bothered about your domain knowledge. Unlike your sector/campus placement interviews, these interviews also measures your personality attributes. Here these panelists are hiring you for a fresher’s position with the expectation that you will behave like an experienced  person or have the potential to behave like one. Your past experience is not of much use here and they want guys who can work efficiently and at the same time have the patience to here from customers in front of desk and managers behind their backs. Also since this is a public facing job basic etiquettes is expected.

For fresher’s : Don’t have the impression that you know all and act overconfident and at the same time don’t act as if you are under too much pressure. Proper communication skill and ability to handle tactical questions is all they expect from you. Consider a scenario where customer starts behaving rudely with you and you give him a slap out of anger. This is not at all acceptable in corporate sector. You have to handle tactically. If you think he is justified and you cannot address him then redirect him to manager. If you think he is unjustified then redirect him to security.

Tips:

There are 5 panelists and they are quite experienced ones and trust me they have enough knowhow to judge a candidate in 10min. Maintain a good eye contact with the one who asked you question but revolve your neck and eye and address all the 5 person irrespective of the fact whether they are even bothering to hear/see you or not. Must and Must and Must for a good candidate. And many candidates miss this as soon as they enter the gate and sit on chair. Once a counter question comes which you don’t expect or don’t know you forget all the things you practiced or knew just before entering room. All IT sector guys , make sure you do this as the interviews you have faced and cleared earlier might have had one or 2 interviewers.

1.

Next Don’t shake your legs. Make sure your legs are cemented to ground and hands are placed on the knee caps with palm on the down side. If you have the habit of making hand gestures while talking try to keep your hand gesture below the desk of interviewers.

2.

Don’t answer rudely or with loud voice. Speak articulately but not with vociferously. Don’t jump on answering question if you could not here the question or understand it properly. Ask once more but don’t start if you did not understand the question, as it give the impression that you don’t have the patience to listen and you are outspoken.

3.

Maintain a smile on your face. Even if they are ridiculing you , don’t get hyper and tensed. Very light smile is must on the face. Modulate your voice properly and so goes with smile. It’s not like you forget speaking and keep smiling.

If you are going in there in a mood that you will blow the interviewer out with your knowledge then you might start talking too much. Go with the feeling that you may know and may not know the answer but you will maintain a smiling face and say

“I don’t know ,sir”. What this will make sure is that you remain down to earth and at same time you are prepared for any situation.

4.

Again reiterating that this might sound irrelevant to already working guys but I hope you have understood by now that the post demands some skills and you should show that in interview. And those who will/have scored 30+ than cutoff they don’t need to bother about anything but knowing things don’t hurt any good person.

Tip3 Coming soon.

Interview Tip 3:

Generally the interview progresses is 3 ways: (there can be more)

1. About yourself 2. Hobby 3. Weakness Strength 4. Why banking. 5. Job related questions or banking questions 5. Confidence check or scenario based questions 6. Current affairs related questions 7. Some light conversation and it ends. (Very Happy ending)

2. About yourself 2. Grill you on your home town or other irrelevant matters 3. Grill you on why banking 4. Some random Math ,Physics, Chemistry or commerce (then accounts) related questions. 5. Finally you piss in your pant and come out with crying face. (This is stress interview and nobody know on what basis they take this call that to whom they will target).

3. Not even about yourself. Directly some random question on current affairs. Then to some random topic in banking and it will go on for some time and it ends. You don’t even get a chance to understand if it went well or bad. ( you will just keep wondering for the next 2 months how it went).

So how do you think they mark all these guys. Even I don’t know. But the only thing you can make sure is if they ask you banking related or current affairs related question then you cannot afford to miss it. That is the point you have to remember that if they are asking you banking and current affairs related questions then you are lucky and you have the best chance to impress them. Just think if you face a panel in the 2nd category how bad you will feel. So make sure you utilize your time from now till interview to the maximum and know at least those things which you are expected to know.

Generally what happens is they give average marks to many and those who are in the cutoff+15-25 range, interview marks  matters a lot. There will be a huge number of aspirants in this cutoff+10-30 range. Very few are in 30+ range and they just need to go and sit and come back in interview avoiding any disaster. So once more I would reiterate don’t repent after the interview and take it lightly. Even if they mark average try to be towards the higher range of average marks like 60-70 range. If the chance comes for you to answer then you should answer it and you never know what might swing interviewers mind. I will post some banking related questions they ask. For current affairs you yourself is expert on that by now, but one more thing now add a special section in your current affairs preparation which focuses more on your state ,district, your surroundings.

If you are fresher and preparing for exams expect a lot of banking questions. (generally this is trend).

If you are working then less questions on banking and more on your area of work ex ( Even though they know nothing on your work profile but they will check you on basic questions like if it is IT . they might ask you what data warehouse is, what is data mining. Blah Blah whatever they heard from here and there in their lifetime. If there is an IT officer in the panel then he may pitch in.) The key here is that they don’t expect you to give all correct answer but they just want to check your confidence and whether you had your eyes and ears opened while working. ) Tip 4 coming soon.

Interview Tip 4 : How to introduce yourself.

What my assumption here is that you don’t have any shortage of material/links/coaching guidance/ friends suggestions. But despite these suggestions and guidance you don’t feel confident as you consider yourself to be a different candidate with unique set of attributes. And Most of the time these suggestions don’t take your individuality into consideration. That is why when you sit to prepare you feel all alone and fight with  yourself whether this is correct or that is correct, whether I should say this or that.

Here comes the role of practice. Don’t run away from asking tough questions to yourself. Lien versus Pledge – Do you know this. If yes then good If no then you should google it now and learn it. But when I said about asking tough questions to yourself I did not mean banking questions, because there is no limit to banking questions. What I meant is asking tough questions to yourself about yourself. Interviewers are ready to compromise 1 or 2 questions if you don’t answer on banking but not when it comes to knowing about yourself. If someone is not knowing himself and is not clear about his views and thoughts he can never impress any customer.

Take this interviews sample:

1.  Candidate enters. Greets “ Good Morning Mam, Good Morning Sirs”. Goes near the chair stands there and sits only after the main interviewer says “Please sit down.” “Are you feeling nervous” (No Sir,I am fine, with a smile). “Sit comfortably.” He laughs and tries to bring the candidate at ease.

“So CD1. Tell me about yourself”. CD1- Sir , My name is CD1, I belong to State , district. I have done B.Tech/BSC/BCOM from abc college. Reading books and listening music is my hobby. My strength is honesty and dedication and my weakness is my inability to say no to someone if someone asks for help.” .

He is interrupted. “So your weakness is very unique.” Smiles and then he asks” Ok CD 1. Tell me if a drunk person comes to your branch and asks you that he wants to withdraw money from his account. What will you do, given that you can’t say no someone if he needs help and he is asking for withdrawing money from his own account so he not even wrong in asking that. SO will you give him the money? ” CD1: “Sorry,I don’t know sir. I will consult my manager and then reply to that man.” “Suppose your manager is on leave and you are in charge. What will you do?”. “Sorry,Sir I don’t know”.

“So CD1.Can you give some examples where your strength is useful for bank.” Since he said honesty he could easily explain it in context of banking. “So CD1. What genres of music you like most” CD1 replies something. One or two more counter questions then the next interviewer starts with banking questions.

My Comments : What do you think he has done wrong or right? Or Has he answered brilliantly. There is no yardstick to measure that. But you can feel is that you should either expose yourself less or if you expose you have to get ready to face some unexpected counter questions. One way of introducing is that you say as minimum as possible and throw the ball in interviewers court and let them begin something. But you think you can drive the interview then expose as much as possible. Like above the CD1 can stop at “abc college”. And let interviewers decide what to ask next. Or if went on to say strength weakness hobby. Some will add more to it like family members. Then at least have the courtesy to prepare counter question from all the angles. He will be marked Above average as he has handled the situation almost well by delegating decision making to manager.. He could have crossed 70 marks had he said that sir i won’t give the money to that person because when I am sitting on a chair in bank I will go by the rules and rules say that money can be given to someone only if he is in proper state of mind regardless of the fact that the man wants to withdraw from his own account.

Also note that the CD1 has not faltered to answer any time whatever came in his mind. Never stop talking or become silent at any time. Say I don’t know or whatever you think is correct. But never dodge the question.

Always remember there is a very thin line of difference between being confident and being arrogant. If you want the job and you respect the job profile you are seeking you will never be arrogant.

Interview Tip 5: Banking awareness Part1

Once I would like to share some info on the panelist and kind of profile they hold.(Generally) There are 5 people in the group. 1st will be the chairman kind of guy and he is mainly concerned on “about yourself” and whatever counter questions can be there. Second person is a hard core banking guy from wealth of knowledge on branch running and banking knowledge. Third one might be an specialist officer (might be a IT specialist/AFO specialist). Fourth one will be a pure HR guy who might ask you anything related to your aspirations in future to gauge you if you possess the motive of staying in bank or not. Fifth will be a lady and generally what we see is that she keeps quiet and her job is to monitor you tip to toe coupled with body language , tone of conversation, your temper ( from the moment you say “May I come in”  to “Thank you sirs and Mam. Have a nice day”). We will talk more on this in some another Tip I will share.

Read recent newspapers and see what important things are coming about banking. Like you must have read in The Hinduuu_u today that some banks might come out of PCA imposed by RBI. Insolvency and Bankruptcy Act recently passed and what impact it will have on future of banking. These are some things which you need to hear and see in and around you and as soon it comes in front you don’t wait for the moment when you sit with pen and paper and book and people will teach you on that or you will make note. You have phone. You have google . search on it. Read some small article on it. Just for 5-10min. this sort of knowledge  gathering last for long

This compilation of the list of topic is very good in terms of static banking but the content is so theoretical that normally people can’t remember it. So in this case what I would suggest you is , take the topic name from that list and use google to see several videos on that. In one or the other video you will get a good concept.

At least these topics I want you to know in and out. Trust me none of this topic is no important. Each one of them is important. I will share some questions on these topics where a scenario based thing is asked. For now take this list.

Interview Tip 7:  A general question which is asked to everyone in one or the other form. Why should we hire you when i have so many other similar candidates with same profile? (Mainly to those who completed his graduation 2/3/4 years back and since then you are unemployed/preparing for exams/sitting on your fathers shop and studying as well/etc.) What are the qualities which makes you best fit for a bank PO job. What all qualities you think should a bank PO have?  Why bank PO after Engineering(Why not Corporate job/PSU)/Law/BSc/MSc(Why not Phd/Professor)/B.Com(Why not CA)? Will you go for UPSC after you are selected and leave a bank PO job? Why bank PO job when you know that there is no onsite opportunities here(to an Infosys/TCS/Wipro and other IT guy)? Why not state government/PSU job? (If you your parents job is discussed and he is into some Govt. job other than banking)? What do you think a bank officer should possess after observing so closely your(whoever relative or parents are in banking)?(Suppose you have mentioned that someone in your family is in banking and so you want to be a banker). Do you really think a Bank PO is a respectable job in society? (In case you have mentioned somewhere in previously that this is your dream job as it hold respect in society)Do you really think a Bank PO is a respectable job in society? (In case you have mentioned somewhere in previously that this is your dream job as it hold respect in society) Since you are fresher’s with no job experience. Can you give some example where you have shown leadership qualities in your academics?   Answer to all this questions might vary a bit but it asked is to measure one common thing: ATTiTUDE.PERSEVERENCE. When you answer this question you are walking on a rope doing a balancing act between truth and lie. They want to know whether you want this job. You have to convince them that you can take the ownership of anyproblem that comes in branch.  Why truth and lie: Truth that you need this job anyhow and nobody knows better than you. Lie  because your perception is telling you that you are meant to achieve something much bigger in life and you will do it one day and Bank PO job is not what you wanted to be since you gained sense what a job is. Most of you will lie(Most of you will not) in this question with the assumption that interviewer considers it truth.  But one thing you have to show to them that you need this job and no one else need it more than you.  I read this somewhere and I think this is worth sharing. Interviewer: Tell me, what according to you is one single most quality of a leader? CD: If I have to choose one quality, it would be attitude. Attitude is what's needed the most, other qualities may be acquired.   Interviewer: Can you give me an example? CD: Yes sir, the king of the jungle is a lion. Lion is not the heaviest, not the tallest, not the strongest but still lion is the king because of the attitude. Lions are natural leaders. And a leader should have that quality. There is a saying that an army of sheep’s led by a lion will defeat the army of lions led by a sheep. (I will try to give a probable answer to each of the above question). But write and answer it yourself. This answer should the touch the heart of interviwer and bring a thought in his mind. "This is the one".

Interview Tip 8  (Continuation of Tip 7).

Some model answers and suggestion. You can come up with your own versions, so use it as per your convenience.

1. Why should we hire you when I have so many other similar candidates with same profile? (Mainly to those who completed his graduation 2/3/4 years back and since then you are unemployed/preparing for exams/sitting on your fathers shop and studying as well/etc.)

Ans: Sir, Very respectfully I would like to tell you that I might have the same profile as others but the difference between them and me will be my attitude towards life. Everyone who has come today here is more or less equally qualified but the difference between them and me is not qualification but extreme desire to get this job and perform well in job. Sir I have always dreamed of being an inspiration at my workplace by performing my duties with utmost integrity and honesty. During the bygone years of my preparation for this exam I have learnt a lesson for life that if one has to achieve something big he will have to work hard and preserve to  achieve it. These struggling times has taught me how to interact with people as I have made many good friends who were also pursuing the same dreams. As a bank PO in a PSB I will not only fulfill my dream of doing a respectful job but also serve the society at large. (Stop here!!. You may get some counter question how do you serve society at large. You can answer that “PSB has branches is such location where profitability is not the only motto of a bank.” But notice the interview is swinging towards other direction away from your unemployability. )

See carefully why I have mentioned above points: ( to suit the nature of job).

Bank PO is a public facing job. ( Have I addressed it that I am good at making friends. Some can say that since he was sitting at his father’s shop he has learned how to interact with customers.)

Bank PO is job where honesty is very important.

Bank PO job is demanding and needs lot of patience.

2. What are the qualities which makes you best fit for a bank PO job.( Use similar sentences as above)

3. What all qualities you think should a bank PO have?

In addition to above points add that it is a very dynamic job were rules and regulations changes every day and one should be capable enough to adapt to changes faster.

4. Why bank PO after Engineering?

Ans: This a very easy question if you understand what these interviewers wants to hear from you and what a bank profile need from you which you possess. Always remember in such type of questions focus on what you have to offer to bank not what has to offer to you. Like you say Sir bank PO is very respectable job so I want this job. I would not recommend to say this. Rather you have say that sir I have lived a very respectable life always and wish to do so. So this job suits me better than any other. Understand the difference, you will become respectable because if bank gives you job or bank will gain from your experience in life on how to live a respectable life. Bank should benefit from your behavior. You are offering bank a very good life long good employee in the form of you. I hope you got the point. Let’s get to answer:

“Sir I agree with you that Bank PO after engineering does not seem to fit well. But Sir I believe any job can be done if we possess the willingness to do it. Yes someone from commerce background might learn understand a balance sheet in one day and I might take 2 days but after 2nd day we both are on equal grounds and the one who is determined to work hard and wants to learn things, will only succeed. Moreover Sir as we know banking is moving towards digitization, it will be very easy for candidates like me to adapt to changes. Since I already have mental predilection towards technology, it will be very easy for me to adapt to changes with changing landscape in banking industry.”

Stop here and let the interview go towards a different direction like the above point might make him ask you what all digitization have you observed in banking industry recently. Or consider a question on NEFT/RTGS coming your way and you should be more than happy if they jump into other topic instead of circling you on this question. Also note that why I am not telling you to tell here such details like honesty ,respect, job security in banking and insecurity in IT/or whatever. They are not bothered here on your those virtues . what they want to here is what benefit can you bring to bank being an engineer.

Now let me tell you a interesting thing here from my personal experience. The banking industry need tech savvy people specially in the role of Bank PO. They don’t  need an economist here. When my training ended we were taken to corporate headquarter of the bank. There we had a brief session with executive directors of the bank. So HR was like introducing the batch. And you will be surprised to know that more than 75 percent of the batch had engineers and EDs were happy towards that that we had so many engineers as adopting technology will be easier for bank in long run. So don’t get your pant wet when this question is posed to you . Rather feel more comfortable to answer it.

(Why not Corporate job/PSU)/Law/BSc/MSc(Why not Phd/Professor)/B.Com(Why not CA).

See you all just highlight the kind of expertise you will bring for bank or go with answer1.

5. Will you go for UPSC after you are selected and leave a bank PO job?

Answer: First thing first don’t let interviewer get to this question. If you menton tht you were preparing for UPSC then say you tried it but were not successful and you have moved on.

6. Why bank PO job when you know that there is no onsite opportunities here(IT guy)?

Here say that going onsite is not very easy and not everyone gets a chance to go to onsite. It is not onsite that fascinates you but rather the opportunity to work in various parts of India as Bank PO is a transferable job.

Now here two more questions which might come to you based on whether you are working at present or you resigned earlier from a IT job.

First if you are working at present:

How do you justify this. You already have a job and you want to leave. If you say I don’t like the work they might take you as quitter. If you say job security is more here than they will take you as a loser who don’t want to work. Then you have to say something which does not put blame on you at all. And also remember: Golden Rule : “Never ever say bad thing about your previous employer”.

So put the blame in the type of industry you work. You can say that you are sometimes put on bench sometimes in project. And your employment faces lot of heat if some other countries policies changes. When you are on bench you have the fear that if recession hits the industry you might be on road. So if they seems unconvinced then start mentioning your qualities.

Second if you resigned and left the job.

For you convincing them is very easy now. Mention above points and say that since competition is very high for this prestigious job you had to quit to prepare. You did not quit earlier job because you did not like the work but to prepare for exam.

7. What do you think a bank officer should possess after observing so closely your(whoever relative or parents are in banking)?(Suppose you have mentioned that someone in your family is in banking and so you want to be a banker).

You have seen the leadership qualities and excellent communication skill. Always vibrant and happy to help. A person of absolute integrity and honesty.

8. Do you really think a Bank PO is a respectable job in society? (In case you have mentioned somewhere in previously that this is your dream job as it hold respect in society)Do you really think a Bank PO is a respectable job in society? (In case you have mentioned somewhere in previously that this is your dream job as it hold respect in society)

Yes definitely. Stick to it. No if and but in this. Trust me it is actually except in some exceptional cases.

9. For a fresher who has year gap 1/2/3/4? If they ask you why year gap.

Don’t feel like you are being insulted here. Don’t start mentioning that you have cleared UPSC mains 3 times and in interview you got rejected and next time you will definitely clear it. No don’t start showing your heroism here.

Play the card of emotion here. Highlight that initially you tried to get job in your field of graduation. You got job offers but since you wanted to come in government job you thought to give it a try. Then you started with banking preparations and from last 1 or 2 years you are missing it very narrowly . ( Even if you crashed in prelims, who the hell is going to check it.) You have not accepted defeat and this year you worked very hard and you have reached here and you just wish that your hard work pays off. Show them you area struggler and you want this job as if you have not eaten food for days and you need this job badly.

One thing never mention that your parents were sick and you were taking care of them so you are sitting in home for 2-3 years. As it gives them a doubt whether you are going to join or not as banking is a transferable job and you can’t be always there for parents to take care.

Interview Tip 9 The END:

1. How to answer scenario based questions on banking operations?

See one thing most of the thing you will not be aware of banking operation. But take a call of conscience there itself. You know banks honor honesty and goes strictly by rules and regulation so never say something that is based on emotional judgement.

I will give some examples later.

Scenario based questions based on your field of qualification?

This you have to handle very carefully on your own and definitely expect some question if you are an MBA in HR and sales.

2. How to answer hypothetical questions? (Why can’t RBI print as much money it can make everyone rich?).

Use your common sense if you can’t then simply say no. because most of these question are based on some economic fundamental.

Why can’t RBI print as much money it can make everyone rich? -> it cannot do. It will lead to hyperinflation.

3. How to answer a question which you think you know but you are hesitant to say it?

Say very humbly that sir I am not fully aware of this concept but I would like to give it a try. Speak as less as possible. If you are correct they will be happy if not they would move to different question quickly, as they cannot afford to hear your wrong answer and waste time.

4. What to say if they ask me about hobby and I don’t have any?

First thing don’t say you have a hobby if you are not prepared for some questions on that. If you think you can’t handle this hobby question at all, then say that you like doing somethings but due to studies and family works you have not been able to give much time to your hobby and you have taken a hobby very recently like writing online blogs. Then they won’t expect also too much as you have taken it up recently. If you think you want to very honest then you can say “My interest in something is  actually whatever I do about the activity itself, and the praise and attention I would get for being the best at it. And being the best at what I do is what makes me feel good and maybe I have not realized that my work itself is like a hobby for me.”

It is not mandatory for everyone to have a hobby and nowhere hobby is one of the qualifying criteria for a bank PO job. So just be honest about it. The interviewer just wants to know about you and what type of person you are and whether you can cope up with the pressure at work place. Generally they are of the view that a person having hobby will work efficiently and if pressure mounts too much he has something to unwind himself. Trust me having a hobby and not having a hobby won’t impact your interview at all. Just be honest about it. Moreover banking is such a stressful job that even if you have a hobby you will be forced to leave it. (Not always).

5. What to say when they ask you to rate yourself /mark yourself after interview?

You yourself have understood how your interview has gone. But give a moderate rating to yourself like if it goes well 80/100 or 7/10. If not that well then 70/100 or 7/10. I am deliberately telling you to keep it at 80 and 70 . If yourself is going to give yourself 50 60 then what do you expect from them.

6. Should you take toffee when they offer you at the end of interview?

Yes definitely with a smiling face and always pick only one even if they ask you to pick more. This not only give you the opportunity to say a good smiling thank you at the end but the interviewers also want to see if you were naturally at ease or you were under pressure.

7. When I forgot to say Good morning while entering but while leaving I remembered that I forgot to say so?

Forget what happened in the past happened. Focus on present. Say good bye and leave. The reason being that they might miss it also to mark it whether you said or not but if you bring it up again then your 1 mark might go away.

8. What to say when they ask you to compare your previous organization with the one in which you are giving interview, in terms of public opinion?

You say that both the organizations operate in different sectors so it is difficult to measure them on similar parameters. But if your previous organization is also bank then say both are good in their own areas of operation.

9. What to say if they ask you about something about your previous organization and it was in news for some negative reasons?

Say yes sir you heard it correct but as far as I know as an employee our organization has done everything to leave the past behind and it is taking very good initiatives to improve public. As a loyal employee I too gave my best to get myself aligned to the collective goal of the organization.

10. If not selected this time then?

This is a very straight forward question but answer should be carefully crafted.

“Sir, (With a smiling face), I have worked hard for this exam and for this interview and I am sure that the mid night oils I have burned will not go in vain. But still if God thinks I am not yet ready for this then so be it. I will prepare again and leave no stone unturned next time and make sure that next time I am in this chair will be last one here and first one as an assistant manager in one of the esteemed organizations like yours. Sir if you permit me I want to add little more on this. ”

They will give a go ahead for sure. Then say “Sir, when I pray god then I don’t say to god that please give me this or make me this, rather I say to god please give only those things which is good for me. Make me something which is good for me and my loved ones. (End with smile).”

Have you read newspaper and you have not read it then what to say?

11. God save you here. I would recommend you to at least see headlines of today’s newspaper. But in case you have not read at all. Say that sir I read newspaper daily but due since I was making sure that I don’t miss any crucial documents for the interview and I reach the venue well before time I forgot to read the newspaper. In any case you value punctuality a lot and reporting at center was your first priority. But having said that I know what all might be covered in today’s newspaper by taking cues from my yesterday reading of newspaper. Say some important news if they ask you to say. Make sure to read newspaper at least a day before one so that it might save you next day.

This fight will not be between one to one candidate. on every number of mains marks and interview marks there will be at least 20-30 students...so just think how fierce battle you are still going to fight in interview..its just that you dont realise it. your 1 or 2 marks will decide your future. Make sure  to use your time and all the best. (i have considered 74.5 out of 225) for illustrations purpose.

I am thinking to not give IBPS po interview as I am already selected in rrb po. Reason is that I want posting near my home..is it good idea career wise?

Factors of mclr ab samajhne ka Mann nahi ,SBI ke liye padha samjha tha. Besides I believe bahot kharab kishmat hogi kisi ki tab jaake IBPS ke interview mein ye sawal poocha jayega. Just remember "MCLR is largely determined by marginal cost of funds and especially by deposit rates and repo rates" unlike base rate. All the best to everyone.
