It's funny seeing people so excited for a bank job but it's one of the worst jobs ever. I just joined as a clerk and the work culture is monotonous and boring. Everyone does the same thing, you won't even be able to differentiate between a PO and Assistant when you visit branch unless it's an upper scale branch. Everyone does the same thing... daily...PO just has a few extra tasks (increased work pressure). Customers are hasty and rude and there is no fixed work timing. I regret joining and will be getting out soon.
Bank job is not a typical government job that people think it is. Everything you've thought about it will be proven wrong. Trust me.
