PUYS HERE are my viewpoint and takeaways from last year's IBPS P.O. MAINS AND THIS YEAR'S SBI P.O. MAINS..
Keep one thing in ur mind ... u have to score 15+ above cutoff inorder to get the final selection ... target your attempts to not less than 90 but instead focus on the topics which brings maximum accuracy in your attempts.
in reasoning -> go for puzzle and be confident in it , start from the simplest puzzles and move on to more tough ones ... just keep this in mind while preparing for it ... don't lose a single bit of confidence while trying to attempt tough puzzles ... if you can't solve it ... go for easier ones upto the level of what you can solve and DO NOT TRY TO GO FOR CRITICAL REASONING portion unless there's like 5 mins left in ur exam and u know u will not be able to solve a puzzle in that duration..then only take risks otherwise STAY AWAY!!
LIKEWISE, in QUANTS -> focus on D.I., avoid CASELET DI's as they are like puzzles and you may or may not be able to solve them , AVOID GOING FOR DATA SUFFICIENCY AND ARITHMETIC unless you're done with D.I.'s other than CASELET ones'. try to attempt in this order D.I.(except CASELET)>D.S.>ARITHMETIC>CASELET ETC....
For G.A. Portion , i am not in a position to help you much so try to ask other fellow PGians in the group
Now , with ENGLISH -> i got 19/40 in last year IBPS P.O. mains but still failed to clear the exam cuz i couldn't clear sectional cutoff in G.A. ->Here's my STRATEGY -> I READ A LOT and give a lot of sectional mocks in ENGLISH ... there isn't so much you can do for the last 17 days but i'll try to say that give as much SECTIONAL MOCKS as you can... and don't try to guess too much in the GRAMMAR portion if you're not getting the result that you want in mocks.INSTEAD focusing on RC will fetch you marks with GREATER accuracy than Other parts of ENGLISH. I prioritise the sections as RC>VOCAB>GRAMMAR
in the end , try to give your best and don't think much about the result . HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF , that's the GREATEST weapon in your arsenal that you can use in the exam.
