i used to think that cutoff wont cross that of last year.But i think i should change my mind.Last year 12k candidates were shortlisted for interview.this year 15k.so thats the reason mains cutoff was less than 2018.if we were to select 12k candidates for interview.the cutoff for mains this year would have been same as that of last year.So that way we can say cutoff to be ~43.87 but the vacancy for UR is much lower and EWS category students are also there so there will be further increase in cutoff.In my opinion the final cutoff will be ~ 44.5-45.

After BOI backstabbing move ... i would request the legends/vintage analyst of this group to atleast let us have an idea of what can be considered as a safe score in mains with poor to average interview

So everyone is down with BOI RTI Reply, prejudice on cutoff and thinking that those in border won't get selected. First of all, at the time of notification, no one noticed that only 11 vacancies intended for OBC. This was against the reservation. But none cross checked it. So the error may be in notification or BOI calculation. The thing is this would have been rectified earlier i mean around December itself. My cutoff prediction is after going SWOT analysis and even by reducing vacancies OBC vacancies will remain This will be the cutoff 43.75, 43.90(worst case). I won't give loose hopes, so wait. I can't explain in detail mathematical model i used but believe it will hover around 43.75 only

My revised cutoff after BOI reduction is 44.3 ......PEACE OUT....
History tells us that the last selected candidate in mains can get final selection provided he/she gets around 90 in the interview. This has been the trend since time immemorial and will stay always. Hence,cutoff won't cross 43.5 most probably.

Cutoff 0.4 to 0.5 marks badh jayegi. 0.5 mein 500 k lagbhag log aa jate hain around cutoff. Last year 5200 vac mein cutoff 43.87 thi. Iss year agar utni hi vac hoti toh 43.38 hoti. But 500 around reduce ho gyi vacancy, and ews 10 percent. So cutoff will be 43.90 to 44.0.. for ur.
The reduction of UR vacancies by BOI won't bear any effect whatsoever on the final cutoff for UR which was supposed to be there before getting this piece of apparently devastating news from BOI as the one mentioned in the notification was a faullty division of vacancies, maybe by mistake. It had to be around 370-80 for UR but had 583(64% of total vacancies notified by BOI) and had to be corrected at some point of time later on. So,chill.
There is no reduction in vacancy by BOI so don't create chaos. Just analyse the vacancy distribution.. It is normal.... 40% general. So overall ka bhi 40% general ka hi hai or 10 ews ka hi hai... Relax.. 🙏
Relax Bhai log .. general ki wese bhi lgti h hamesha ..wese boi ka notification mein hi galat diya tha ..so usne bass rectify Kiya h ..baaki boi toh internal promotion ke circular mein vacancies ki totalling galat krta h 😂😂
