Maharashtra topping 1000 cases today is an ominous sign for the whole of nation.Cases cross 11500 in Maharashtra alone. Cases may hit 75k across India by 15th May. Results highly unlikely in these tough times. But ,it shall pass. Be positive.
Don't you find it strange that loan of 68600cr of top 50 defaulters including Mehul Chauksi has been written off..... and no media discussion on it and if you think it won't effect you then these wll be the reasons due to which Govt will try and reduce the expenditures CUTTING VACANCIES in various depts. its STRANGE no discussion on this topic, I can see news rooms filled with North korea, china-america, hindu muslim debates but no economist to talk about economy, no suggestion, no criticism(which is back bone of democracy) and mot strange part is we have started to enjoy it including few of my family members.

personal bashing, raising questions on identity is usually a sign that you are not able to answer the question raised by the one, lets come and talk on issues, If calling someone Urban naxal , communist, leftist etc solves all your questions then you are welcome but again have a thought of that quetion which I rose on unemploymenr and its relation to writing of bad loans..... no personal grudges not even with the one who bashes everyone who questions govt. but bashing is certainly not the solution
Usually i don't get into this politics tussle going on in group but this write off has created a buzz. I hope already many would have known this, just want to clarify that further. The bad asset cleaning process was kick started during Raghuram Rajan era. He was the one who forced the banks to clean up its balance sheet by identifying the bad loans and make provisions for them. Now if a NPA was kept for long, bank has to make provisions out of its profit for NPA each quarter. After making provisions, banks which have net profits without provisioning has reported loss after provision. Prolonged loss will make the bank to enter into PCA framework, this is the reason so many banks entered into PCA last few years as Returns on Asset fall apart. Iam having IOB reply that the bank is not recruiting because it was in PCA framework. Provision on each quarter will affect CAR too as it eats up the tier 1 capital, so many banks due to NPA was not able to meet CAR criteria Not all the writeoff are complete let off, some writeoff done as a part of NCLT to make the bidder takeup the bankrupt firms. Writeoff helps banks to reduce its provisions each quarter though writeoff needs provision but a one time settlement provision. Even after writeoff, banks try to recover as much as possible by liquidating the assets. Last but not the least, Writeoff affects the borrower and it brings death blow almost. Because CIBIL History gets updated and a person who has loan writeoff will never ever be able to get loan again. So stop the nonsense and analyse it. Nothing is perfect, yes there may be a case where haircut was more in favour of defaulters. But democracy itself is a flawed one.
I have read the news article where it is clearly mentioned that private offices can open with 33 percent strength nd rest staff can work from home...nd mumbai is in red zone where ibps office is situated..now if ibps or ibps director want to declare the result then he can easily do it with 33 percent staff which can easily comprise all the technical team required to declare the result...nd if ibps doesn't want to declare the result then I think wait will be too long.. Hoping that now with private offices being allowed to open in red zones with 33 percent strength , result will be declared soon.

As soon as somebody questions saheb and his govt an army of minions come out with questions to opposition. That's completely logical because opposition is running the country, the ruling govt is highly incapable.
