This is not an ideology oriented but a genuine doubt, reply in English if anyone interested, just want to garner opinion because this group is diverse, any Rajput here, kindly give your thoughts. Though a mythological story and some are saying that it is true. After watching padmavat, aroused a doubt. Are we really admired by western liberal thoughts and what UN follows. When i read in school days, i thought sati as a barbarian act, i really hated why these kind of idiotic things are followed in middle aged india and early 20th century. No one there told me the other side why sati has been followed. I know adultery is allowed after SC verdict however our cultural ethos doesn't allow that. So after the death of husband, a woman gets sexual torcher from her relatives in those days. Those men can't be trusted upon to protect those widows.After watching the movie i turned my opinion as it seems there was a valid reason behind it. Modern laws really prohibits suicide and make it a crime but that law too a colonial legacy. I am not here to say that sati should be revived but sati was portrayed that Indians are uncivilized barbarians, we don't know anything, we are a male dominated society and hence sati was forced on all women those days. There were no empirical evidence for that during middle age especially when sultans and mughals invaded. Yes there are evidence in early nineteenth century that sati was forced however those opposed sati were also from the same school of western thoughts. Still western people scold us by saying that we were an uncivilized society as we followed early childhood marriage, sati etc. My question is sati in middle age is really a barbarians act as said by western thinkers. Don't you think that our culture has been wrongly portrayed in every sphere without analysing its noble cause Is it a conspiracy of erstwhile British rulers and we are all trapped in that still now Both right, left, neutral, fire up your thoughts in comments. Good news Even after undertaking 2 behemoth size banks, PNB didn't decreased vacancies, the bloopers Canara has just taken a small syndicate and then decreased vacancies by half. Bullshit canara. Total so far - 877(PNB + CANARA) as per RTI received so far .

psbs are working with 50% staff in branches....staffs are overflowing due to merger..its highly likely that they will reduce indent vacancies as per now
