It is meant to give representation to SC/ST/OBC people, who on account of the society's caste structure, have remained socially and educationally backward. Only 5% ST, 10% SC, 16% OBC, 17% Muslims in the richest category. Around 69% of India's population is SC+ST+OBC. Nearly 31% are from General/Others. Where (SC+ST+OBC) gets 49.5% reservation. 3% reservation for disabled(from all categories) which takes the total reservation to 52.5%. 10% reservation for EWS of General/Others is a masterstroke by Modiji 👏 which is solely based on income inequality. So, the remaining General/others are allowed for 37.5% of seats in educational institutions and vacancies in government jobs. Where merit students from (SC+ST+OBC) categories can also get into them
