Congratulations to all .... it's a different feeling when you clear your first mains after experiencing so many failures...... I am not expecting much more marks above the cutoff.... M expecting 79-82 marks including desc...don't know whether i will make into the final list or not...but i want to give my 100% to this interview....please guide me through this

Many people here are those who cleared the mains for the first time and have doubts about how to prepare for the interview. I have given the last 2 interview of ibps PO but unfortunately could not clear and also gave interview of SEBI Grade A last year but could not clear that also because of the low mains marks. So i would like to share my experience and try to tell you guys how to prepare for the interview (Not an expert but just trying to help with my experience) The best way to prepare for interview is following these 3 steps 1-> Gain knowledge 2-> Revise it 3-> Perform In step 1 Gain Knowledge , just go through any interview material for any website that you believe in , there are many adda 247 , cloud affairs, etc you can get them free or buy them. Even if you get the old one it the same they just add some CA which can do anyways from the free capsule etc. Read them they are in Q&A form and read their answers and then try to frame your own answers for the given question. There are 2 types of questions in them Banking and personal. So in banking you can directly understand and learn them. And for personal question make your own answers just don't mug up the answers because it is different for each of us. You can also think of questions related to your Profile, place of birth , place of study if different, parents profession , Previous job if any , leader quality , final year project mostly for new graduates and how can that be used in banking etc etc. Think of every type of question that can be asked to you because you can only perform well in interview when you are well prepared with that answer. Also prepare a good and positive introduction for yourself. Step 2 Revise , is easy just try to ask yourself the question and speak out loudly to your self the answer without seeing the answer. Step 3 Perform this is the toughest step and will need some peoples help it could be your friends, parents, siblings, etc. Just ask about 3-4 of them to seat and give them some questions and tell them to ask you the questions randomly. You can also do this by yourself if you don't have any people to help you by just seating in front of a mirror and ask yourself the question and tell yourself the answer and by this you can get to know how your body language is when you are answering a question. Because it is very important. Mostly the question are on very basic things related to your personality, as it is a personality test. So prepare those questions well. Then do your best in the interview day because that's the day when you will be actually given marks for all this hardwork. Hopefully we all make it this time to the final list.
