Dowry or Gift whatever you say, must not be forceful, it should be settled before marriage. If taking dowry/Gift from future in-laws is sin, then finding a well settled Govt/Public Sector Employees for your unemployed/unqualified daughter is equally a SIN. Must be balanced from both sides unless n until it's love marriage. (Post unke liye hai jo bhawnaao mai beh jaate hai or ch@tiya katwa lete hai).
