this post is not to demotivate anyone but I gets confused when people talks about quant cutoff to be reasonably low, i can't figure out that one (2*5) DI was a cake walk and how anyyone appearing in mains can't solve that, expect one question that was slightly tricky in that di, those marks will not only clear sectional for many but will also have impact on overall cutoff.

From what I have seen is this year the performance in reasoning section has been below par compared to previous years and for maths it has been a little better compared to last year but not as good as year prior last. For english and gk it has been somewhat equivalent to last year. But I think people might be over estimating their performance in English. So what according to me the final cut off and the sectional cut off could be considering they would have to qualify 6000 some people (I only consider UR category) Reasoning- 6-8 GA- 9-11 English-12-14 Maths-5-7 But coming to the total cutoff it will definitely be on the higher side compared to last year Total cutoff- 77-80 Reason being, people haven't been able to perform in sections like reasoning and maths, but overall the attempts and the accuracy has been on the higher side. People have been able to perform in English, ga and descriptive if they haven't been able to do so in reasoning and maths. Also EWS is the biggest factor for this high of a cutoff. Addition of a few more seats would leave the cutoff unaffected. PS- If you disagree, comment section is all yours
