=> "Which statements" states that it may be multiple choice. Please don't post multiple choices since only single correct questions are asked in IT off' exam. No hard feelings .. :)
I think the correct one is =>

For which position/post have you applied in IBPS Specialist Officer Exam 2013?

Hi All, I have created a poll for this thread. Please enter the position for which you have applied in IBPS SO 2013 Exam. So we can know which users have applied for a particular post and contact the users who have applied for similar positions. This would be helpful especially to those puys who have applied for a post having less users here.

Hi Puys, posting this question.. My friend sent this question via mail.. even he couldnt solve it

i tried solving it but couldnt solve even after 20 mins..

So Pls provide the explanation of how u arrive at the conclusion once u solve it..

Here goes the question....

"Amit, Arun, Ajay, amar, arvind, amarjeet, avinash and ajit are 8 friends studying in engg colleges in diff streams, viz aeronautical engg, comp engg, chem engg, electronic engg, electrical engg, civil engg, mech engg and tech engg but not in the same order. all of them are seated around a circular table, facing away from the centre.

Amit sits 3rd to the left of the person who studies electrical engg. Oly 2 persons sit between amar and avinash. Neither amar nor avinash studies electrical engg. The person who studies tech engg sits second to the right of arvind. Arvind is not an immediate neighbour of amit. Arvind does not study electrical engg and amit does not study tech engg. The one who studies aero engg sits 3rd to the left of amrjeet. The one who studies aero engg and the one who studies electrical engg are not immediate neighbours. Oly one person sits between arvind and the one who studies chem engg. The person who studies electronic engg and the one who studies comp engg are immediate neighbours. Oly one person sits between arun and the one who studies civil engg . The one who studies civil engg is an immediate neighbour of ajit. Avinash and arun are not immediate neighbours. Arvind does not study comp engg."

Ur suggestions/shortcuts/solution are welcome.
