I have applied for IT officer scale 2, If I qualify, do I eligible to appear interview for IT officer scale 1 also.As the exams are same for both..

I am apearing for the first forany such public exam. could you please help me which one is better ?

IT scale -1 or 2?

what is the pay scale for both of these. I have work ex of 3 years and I am from an engineer. Please guide so that I can apply accordingly.

You are eligible for IT officer scale 2 exam since the minimum work exp reqd for this post is 1 year. go for this and all d best for it

@kenny_rock becuase there will be different cutoff for scale 1 and scale 2. also, the banks recruit according to their requirement and accept scores as per your application. If you have a work xp of 1 year, why would you go for low level job and not use that work exp

@audiq7 then allow the pop ups, and clear the cache from firefox, make sure u have good connectivity.
