IT officer scale II. how many of you had submitted an experiance letter at time of interview. I had not because I work in one of the IT major and they do not give experiance letter until completion of notice period. After completion of notice period, they provide with Reliving letter and experiance letter generally comes to home after 15-20 days by post.
Puys please suggest me if there would be any problem if I will report with reliving letter ?

I got Indian Overseas Bank for Specialist Officer...If anyone is joining the same bank, please intimidated me when they are going to give the joining letter. Currently I am working in a private organisation where i have to give intimation 1 month before the resignation.

Today i went to the circle office of pnb in varanasi..in the far end of the office there was a small roam with name IT branch and in which 4-5 IT officers were there..I asked a few questions from one of the IT officer sitting there.He told me that in IT officer post in Pnb(i dont know abt other banks) Max one can reach is till Level-III only after that you are transfered into general banking..He told me that in 4.5 yrs of work he has reached level 3 and in some time from now he'll be transferred into general banking where as per banking rules one has to go thru min of 2-3 yrs in rural/semi urban branch..So now he will be posted in some rural or semi urban branch..As per work of an IT-officer i clearly saw and he told me also that whatever is taught in Btech/MTech is of no use..Their work is basically to check the connectivity of different branches within a city, installing anti- virus, maintaining databases/records,etc..And when posted in Head office the work is little different which he did not tell me(He was Rude type)..He told me that if u want to stick to banking sector than go for PO(as i am selcted as po as well as It officer) and if u want to change or switch to some IT industry or can cope up with general banking later than u can go for IT-officer.After this i left the office as he was not interested in replying to any more queries....😠😠😠😠

i selected in OBC bank as IT Officer scale 1, but in may 2014 my M Tech in Computer Science will complete from NIT rourkela nd I also qualified UGC NET for lectureship nd JRF nd GATE with 99.30 percentile.. which option is better
1. join a private college as assistant professor nd do phd in part time(salary 35000 to 40000 initial)
2. join NIT or IIT for Phd(scholarship 16000 to 25000 monthly initial)
3. Join bank as an IT Officer scale 1 (salary u know)..
Can any1 plz tell that whose salary is better..IBPS SO or SBI PO?

Puys, have you observed one clause in our allotment notification that the "offer letter and joining is subject to the eleigibility criteria of participating organisation" ! If such is the condition then what is the purpose of IBPS and why we have gone through such a rigorous interview process. I swear if any discrepancy arise due to such an eligibility issue the IBPS should be immediately shut down. A writ petition should be filed to the Supreme Court to ban IBPS and all the banks from such illegal activities. If there is so much hidden criteria and such non transperancy then this is unlawful activity of IBPS and Banks. And IBPS and the allotted bank should pay compensation to every allotted candidate a compensation amount of of minimum Rupees Five Crore for playing with the future career of the aspiring candidates

3.Driving licence--which i dont have
4.Passport--which i dont hv
5.Ration card--which is nt issued on my name
6.Postal Id card--which i dont have..
Can i apply fr learning licence n will it b applicable??
