few reasons for delay of process by BOB
which one do you think is correct one ??
A) BOB is INDIA'S INTERNATIONAL BANK
so they are importing call letters which needs time...
B) BOB is BANK BEYOND BOUNDARIES
so they are expecting us to cross boundaries of pations and time..
C) BOB is BANKING SINCE 106 YEARS
so they want us to know how much 106 years are and think delay in time is only way..
what is the joining date of canara bank 25 or 26 in mail they have mentioned it 25 and in letter they have mentioned 26.anybody have confirmed from hr about joining date

I just had a talk with the Union Bank of India HRD.
What I got to know is that the Offer letters will reach us (IT Officers Scale-2 ) in another 9-10 days and that our joining will be somewhere in September.
Also having asked they told that the place of one's reporting will only be at the place of one's posting( unlike in some banks they had to report at the corporate HQ or the likes of it)...
It is actually a case of double standards owing to the HRD people because as the word is out they already have sent letters last Monday(13.08) ...which calls for more plausible questions as it hasn't reached us hitherto (registered post hardly take 3 days)..
Pertaining to our incumbency with the current employer it isn't very easy to go like this as we have a lot more of things to take care of...likes of which are our relieving date, travel plans, etc.
Least banks should be a bit more considerate and that information flows smoothly and unambiguously.
