Age limit for IT office Scale 1 is 35 yrs in IBPS Specialist Officer Exam 2013 but Banks age limit for this post is 30 right ? Plz clarify .... Any Takers?

it says here age limit for PO is 30, and IT officer is 35. We will need to see for each bank this way.

@AnSara maintaining the virtual and physical servers, gateways of bank, lots of database related work, initially, but after one promotion, more of a supervisor job, and attending meetings, and day to day support kind of job. as far as i know.

@saikatha yaar, I am also appearing for the first time. I have an experience of 15 months.

1. all the books available for this are from publications like gpk, upkaar etc. Reading the previous year posts here for the same exam I noticed It would be more or less of the same level as bank po exams. You may also read previous year posts.

2.yes, you are eligible for scale 2.

3. salary bank po jitni hi hogi, basic 14600 ke something, so inhand 23-25k ke aas paas..

@saikatha exam ek hi hai, it officer scale 1 and 2 ke liye.. cutoff jyada hogi scale 2 ke liye.. it was 134 last year, whereas the cutoff for it officer scale 1 was 128..

and as i read in newspapers few months ago, it baar interview bhi ek hi baar hoga and ek hi merit list prepare ki jayegi. then us merit list ke basis pe sabhi bank recruit karenge.
