To clear the air for some of you who are selected in both PO & SO. I have talked to both SO & PO in same bank. Salary is same, rank is same, perks are same & contrary to popular belief promotion opportunities are also same. Only thing different is their work profile & customer interaction. You want to work in core banking & for personal growth go for PO (anyways after years there is nowhere else to go but core banking). You love technology & reluctant to customer interaction go for SO. Also you will have less work load than PO but difference is actually very less, sometimes workload is even more than PO (hard times). So go with your gut feeling. I hope this puts to rest all the queries regarding comparison of SO & PO. Go anywhere, Be anywhere, just remember to leave your mark there... 😊
Whats the trend on vacancies of ibps IT SO. Were they less in 2016 compared to 2015. Next year will there be vacancies, less more?
