@purush88 Purush, you tried to decipher the unpredictable and predict it. So, keeping aside all the speculations whether your predictions had hit bull's eye or not or regarding your process or what went into it or not. You really deserve applause and appreciation for the tremendous efforts, patience and time along with hard work which you have put in to come out with this analysis. 😃
What could be a safe score in written exam in order to get final allotment....??
Last night, I logged in to ibps to check my marks again just to download pdf for future reference, and I found one loophole. So, finally I got chance to get data of those who "appeared" for MAINS by using some complex JavaScript.
Later, From that data, I kraftly filtered only those who were selected for interview.
and used Javascript again to get total number of students selected in interview.(the reg no. list was available on ibps website)
Though I try hard to filter data based on category, but because of PWD, OC etc, it was hard to do that, so skipped it for now.
I've fetched only Total Marks, not sectionals, because It was taking really long to do each iteration.
I've created graph below on based on total number of candidates secured marks in each range.
Note: I'm not here predicting any cutoff. Because nobody knows Interview marks.
PS: Don't ask for data, I'm not gonna share it. I do not want to put myself in legal trouble.

Should ibps declare result more transparently like Ssc cgl by uploading pdf of marks of all candidates in all components of exam? Of course in addition to link to individual result.

if a guy rejects a seat allotted to him in the final list to be published on april 1, is it given to other guys who were not in list? how do things work here, i mean is there any mechanism to reject the seat or is it just that if the guy doesnt show up on the joining date at the bank, he is considered to have rejected the seat? in the second case wont it be too long till the seat is given to other guys?
This is my prediction for General Category aspirants (IBPS PO V) :
IBPS PO V score of candidate X is 76.
which is (76 *80)/200 = 30.4 out of 80.
if X who just cleared the cutoff score and manages to get the maximum in interview round, i.e. 90 out of 100 that means (90/100*20) = 18 out of 20.
By adding both written score and interview marks we get, 30.4 + 18 = 48.4
But, I have analysed the Last year cutoff too (IBPS PO IV)
Written cutoff was 82 which is 32.8
so a candidate needed maximum score in interview for the final selection i.e. 49.6
so he needed 16.8 marks out of 20 for the final selection that means maximum marks for interview out of 100 was 84.
So if we add this 16.8 (interview marks) in written score of PO V, we get, 30.4 + 16.8 = 47.2
Therefore final cutoff may be in the range of 47.2-48.4
