has been a lot of speculation on vijay malya about sbi against him..i just asking sbi..how come u give dt many crors without any collateral? and rbi..hw did u approve it.. i thnk as future bankers..all of us will b under pressure from higher officials to sancton unwanted loans... i thnk without banks zonal office officials and rbi the then officials alos played part in this loan process..befre blaming malya..have to blame banks and rbi also... 😞

IBPS PO V(5) expected final cut off perfectly explained
This article deals about where the final cut-off of IBPS PO-5 falls in. Guys, please keep in mind that this range of cut-off arrives after extensive research and approximation. I have considered last two years IBPS PO cut-offs and marks secured by aspirants in my institution and analyzed it. I am going to explain in detail the process of arriving at the final cut off in - simple steps.
Step-1 (common sense):
The cut-off for IBPS PO 4 for mains exam cutoff 82 for 16721 posts is
gen: 49.6
obc: 45.60
sc: 42.20
st: 36.40
The cut-off for IBPS PO 3 for mains exam cutoff 61 for 21680 posts is
gen: 42.2
obc: 36.80
sc: 34.2
st: 26.20
Then what would be the Cut-off for IBPS PO 5 for mains exam?
let us calculate for general category cutoff 76.
It should definitely fall in between 42.2-49.6. There, we got a range, which in further steps we'll try to narrow it to arrive at a more definite number.
Step-2 (common sense in-depth):
Let us consider the scores of just cut-off cleared candidates in past two years. In a view that he/she should also get a fair chance of selection, He/she should be definitely in if he/she scored maximum in the interview I.e. 90.
So for IBPS PO 4, 82*.4+90*.2 = 50.8
For IBPS PO 3, 61*.4+90*.2 = 42.4
Both the above scores are above the cut-off, so for IBPS PO, 76*.4+90*.2 = 48.4. There is no way cutoff is going to be equal or above 48.4.
SO our range got reduced to 42.2-48.4.
Step-3 (analysis):
We can easily say that the cut-off will be nearer to 48.4 than 42.2, as 76 is nearer to 82 but not 61. If we consider the difference 50.8-49.6 = 1.2 and 42.4-42.2 = .2 we can assume that as the cutoff decreases the difference decreases. So this time, we can assume a difference of .8 to be at least. So the cut-off may be around 47.6.
Step-4(analysis in-depth):
The difference between 82 and 76 is 6 marks. Given that the level of the interview is same in both cases, these 6 marks lead to a difference of 6*.4 = 2.4. So, 49.6-2.4= 47.2.
But, the number of posts in IBPS PO 4 are 16721 (although 16322 were only allotted in final) and we are expecting 13500 posts this year. For this, I took the list of candidates that got selected in IBPS PO 4 from IBPS website, (which is still available). There are roughly 1100 out of total 7365general people who got below 50.2 (not including people who got 50.2). Now the difference for posts in general is 50.2-49.6 = .6.
So, if we add this to 47.2 it will become 47.8. So, again the cut off thus arrived is approximately same as above.
Step-5(research):
Past 15 days I'm seeing so many people boasting their marks as 100 above and thus leaving guys with 100 below terrified about the final cut off. Although you guys got a pretty good idea about the final cut-off by now, let me fill you with enough confidence. I took one of leading South Indian institution's student's mains marks into consideration and made a graph as below.
As you can clearly see that a minimal number of people crossed 100 marks and above. Also in each category, the density lies in the middle. So for example in the general category, people with 80-85 marks are more in number than in 76-80 range. Which makes the interview a deciding factor for the range 80-90.
Also, if a guy who secured 50 in IBPS PO 4 with minimum interview marks i.e. 8, which means he got 105 in mains which means 23 marks ahead of cut off. Assuming the same, for guys with mains marks 100 and above in IBPS PO 5, irrespective of the interview, gets the job. 90-100 range should get minimum 10 in the interview to make it to the final list. 85-90/80-85 range should do interview very good/ extraordinary to make it to the final list.
Conclusion: The cutoff for general category will be 47.6/47.8. In worst cases consider an error of+-1.
and for remaining categories would be:
obc: 43.8
sc: 37.6
st: 34.4
NOTE: JUST A ANALYSES, final cut off may be less than that, but surely it will not go beyond that (copied from a blog)
