My reporting time was 8:30 am and I was really late for 45 mns. Thankgod , document verification was done at 11am and I was 8th member. My turn came at 11:30am and I started deep breathing to relax myself. I turned on stopwatch in my mobile and entered into the room along with attender. (No chance to knock the door) there were 5M and 1F in the panel and interview went for 30 minutes M1: Randi reddy garu kurchondi ..relax avvandi(please come reddy sir, please sit and relax) Me: Thankyou everyone! Firstly am really honored to sit before the ace bankers like u. M2: tell me about yourself in 2 minutes Me: told M3: what are your future goals? Me: If I have any goals in future i will relax soon after reaching them. I dont have any goals and I always wanna gain more knowledge and expand my boundaries. M2: Good! Which account do u have ? and in which bank? how is it beneficial to you and your bank? What is the interest rate? Me: I have savings acocunt in SBI and interest paid is 4%. SA account is beneficial for me as am jobless right now and I don't have enough money for FD account. CASA accounts should me more as they are less cost accounts so it will be beneficial for SBI F1: What are your strengths and weaknesses? Me: My strength is stammering as it increases my thinking abilities and weakness is am a spendthrift. But I would definitely be economical from May as am gonna join as a PO. EVERYONE LAUGHED AND SAID U R REALLY CONFIDENT AND HONEST. (I was on cloud9). M4: Okay! why PNB & BOB ARE FIRST PREFERENCES? Me: They are as strong as SBI and their market value and net assets are really high compared to other banks. M1: what are SEBI and IRDA? and what are their functions? Me: Told. As it was an easy question. F1: Suppose a drunken man came to bank and creating nuisance ,how will u respond? Me: Drunken men/women are to be dealt softly and if we show anger on them, it will be unbearable to handle their retaliation. We have to show some concern towards them and ask them what their problem really is. We should have some empathy. EVERYONE STARTED DISCUSSING AMONG THEMSELVES FOR 1 MINUTE. I WIDENED MY EARS BUT COULDN'T HEAR ANYTHING. M3: So far your interview is good and how many marks plus cutoff you are expecting to get? Me: I am expecting cutoff plus 5 marks sir as my attempts were less. M3: Okay! Here is the final question. What is the difference between you and the people outside? Me: I could still able to see something out of nothing sir. There will always be a ray of hope in my mind even in my greatest troubles. F1: Your age is 21 and you got some baldness. What is the reason? Me: I am not bald ma'am. I have more head to show. Its simple. Again everyone laughed and asked me to take a chocolate and leave. I finally thanked them and left. Puys .. In that interview of IBPS chairman in economic times he said that 55000 candidates will go through all the three phases and then he has said that approx 20000 vacancies are there. !! But only 40763 candidates have been called. !! Taking his words to be true the ratio is 1:2.75 ... Therefore we can expect 14500 vacancies dis year !! Just a thought. !! U can abuse me in comments if u want
