There is a doubt if a obc score is 100 but his sectional cutoff are not cleared in gen catgory does this affect his selection in gen category in any case

No doubt there are so many 100+.. But not that much.. While coming to an end of a claculation we always forget that there are 40000 people who attended the interview.. But we always get frightened and make an estimation by seeing those 1000s who have scored more than 100.. ..

Guys,Is it possible that due to high sectional cutoff for general,only few obc candidates will get seat under general category and many obc candidates including top scorers will get seat under obc,so the obc finalcutoff also will be close to general final cutoff? Also because mains cutoff for obc and general are same(76)?
