cut off OBC Last year 45.6
written-80 i.e. 32/80 & PI-68 i.e. 13.6/20 =32+13.6= 45.6
cut off OBC This year 44
written-76 i.e. 30.4/80 & PI-68 i.e. 13.6/20 so 30.4+13.6=44
What is the worst case scenario if someone leaves andhra bank manipal course in October which starts in April? And is it also sales job like icici manipal? Please provide valuable feedback.

Hi Guys This is Purush88, and this is about IBPS PO 4 and 5.
Guys Lot of people are confused about cut-off, will I get selected or Not and if u feel most of the candidates are above 100's and u don't deserve a chance for final selection please read this Article.

Stats: Taken 2014 as example. For SC/OBC/GEN
I have taken SC Mark as example but It is applicable to OBC also.
Last time the first mark of SC candidate was 68 and the last mark was 42.20, Look at the difference between the marks it is 26, now the difference between 1st mark and second mark is 10 (ie) the second mark is 58, no of candidates scored in 50's (59-50) is 21,No of candidates scored in 40's (ie)(49-42.20) is 2447. What do u com to know about this? There are lot of peoples who scored in 40's, Secondly what we come to know is there are less toppers. From my analysis of past data's what i come to know is "for every point there are roughly 150 (eg:40.6 has 150 candidates) candidates and from one mark to another mark (40-41) there are 600 candidates towards the final cut off, and the candidates dramatically reduced when the cut off is high (eg: 43-44, the number of candidates who scored the same mark (eg:43.8) is 75 candidates only and the no of candidates within 43-44 are 332,it has reduced nearly 50%, so what I say is with higher mark the number of candidates are less and towards the final cut off there are more candidates. So if a person scores above 100 he will be a topper and there will be less number of candidates in that range.
For "GENERAL" Candidates.
Towards the final cut off (50,49) we have nearly 400 peoples scoring the same mark (49.6) and the difference between 1 mark to another mark (50-49) is 2000 towards the end ((ie) 2000 candidates are in the range from (50-49)). When the cut-off is high you have 125 (53 mark) candidates scoring same mark and the difference between the mark is 700 candidates from (53-54), The further it goes (56 mark) There are 56 candidates scoring the same mark, further (from 57-56) there are 232 candidates in this range. In this case too the toppers are less and More candidates are towards the final cut-off.
Last Time (estimate taken 52 as range and calculated guys scored above 52) approx 3500 scored above 100 ( when the paper was easy )out of which 600 from other communities got sets in GEN.
Note: Why I have taken 52 as central point is, if I take 54 as cut off only 1620 are scoring above 100, if I take 50 as cut off 6255 peoples are scoring 100 and above ( Both the cases are not possible).
Total 8212(GEN)- Other Community got seat (1000)+3500 (above 100 in gen) = 3712 scored below 100.
This time the general category vacancy is 6750 (can be more) and the candidates scored above 100 ( we will keep as 4000 including SC and OBC ), still (u) (I) "we have a chance", 2750 vacancies for below 100 candidates.
This 100+ Phobia is not only for this year but for 2014, 2013 and 2012 too, every year it happens.
The Final Cut off is the decider for Most of the Candidates.
If u see websites, Include PG,BA,BE,..etc u will see roughly 3k to 4k (Less then this only) using IBPS PO 5 as a forum and displaying their marks.
My question is
1. How many of them have crossed 100.
2. How many of their marks u have seen in real.
3. Does all are the mark said in various forums are genuine.
4. What is the guarantee that a guy in PG will not be in other websites in different names and posting his marks
5. When the question paper was difficult last time only 3500 (approx) scored above 100, when the question paper was tough this time how many would have crossed 100?

Prepare well for RRB,SSC and LIC AAO, Concentrate more on Upcoming Exam.
Note: LOT OF GUYS are asking me why you always give false opinion (Positive Opinion) even for a guy who scored just 76.25 ? because he too deserves a job that's y IBPS has called him/her for the interview and I have seen guys getting 1 mark higher then cut-off and getting placed as PO's.

Last year a Gen Category guy scoring 90 (ie) 8 marks above cut off and getting 14 in interview was comfortably IN(90x80/200+14)=50,Check yourself.

JUST A PREDICTION:=
Dear friends, I am not a mathematician, not a statistician neither an astrologer to predict the actual cutoff. But just for interest, I have done this.. Since I am very new, any error is deeply regretted. Forgive me, if I have put any wrong data. Pls.
Well, Last year cutoff for written was 82. Final cutoff was 49.6. Therefore, a candidate, to be in the final merit list, must have to score 84 out of 100 in interview; if he had just got the cutoff marks, i.e. 82 in written.
This year cutoff is 76. Therefore, Its already less than the previous year cutoff by 6 marks. So expected final cut-off should be less in general sense. Similarly interview marks should also have to be less for final selection. For the sake of simplicity, lets keep it constant, like last year. Say it is 85(I increased it by 1, for the sake of calculation) out of 100. So, if written cutoff is 76, and getting that marks, one have to get 85 for final selection, the Cutoff should be 47.4.(+/-1) (Sorry brothers and sisters, most of the candidate got more than 100 in written, but dil to bachha hai ji)
Taking 47.4 & 48.4 as final Cutoff, A quick chart for INTERVIEW:

CONCLUSION:
(1) We can see for every 1 marks rise in Cut off, the interview marks increases by 5. So my friends can calculate for higher cutoff by themselves.
(2) For every 1 marks increase in written, interview marks decreases by 2 marks.
(3) In general, the interview marks varies from 50-65(sample data collected from nearly 14 friends of mine, who qualified in the last year in PO 4). Therefore, if we take it as general rule of thumb, candidates getting 86 in written is in safe zone(iff, cutoff is 47.4; obviously my friends here will get more than 65, I know, in interview) and 89 in written(iff the cutoff is 48.7).
N.B. : This is just a prediction which I have done out of my interest. It does not have any resemblance with the original cutoff that is going to be declared on 1st April. It it happens, we will call it CO-INCIDENCE. And if it annoys anybody, i convey my heart-felt regret for that.
