I am working right now in state govt job in subordinate cadre getting 23000 in hand salary which will reach around 30000 after 7th pay. I am having 5 day week and posted in home town now million dollar Q is should i join bank po or should i continue with my current job? Work pressure is avg & leaves are easily available in my current job.

IBPS PO 5 Vacancy is 20000. Because of 2 tier exam this time ibps shortlisted candidates in the ratio of 1:2. that's y the section cutoffs are very high this time. in an interview that was published on economic times, on june 2015 A S BHATTACHARYA Director of ibps said that they are going to hire 20000 officers this time. IBPS also shortlisted only 40000 candiates this time that makes the above statement very strong. i am damn sure that PO 5 VACANCY is 20000. last year only one exam so they called on 1:3. this time they already shortlisted the candidates by 2 tier exam so they called on 1:2 for interview so only 40000 candidates. for a ref read this article
