Puys ek kaahaani sunata hun. IBPS se related nahi hai but i m sure hamare mein kai logon ke saath hui hogi... Meri ek pados ki aunty hain. Unki ladki ne b.tech karke 3 saal se UPSC aur CGL ki tayyari kar rahi hai. Iss saal CHSLE mein home ministry mein clerical mila hai. Good. But kehti hai aunty ki BANK PO mein to hamara pehle saal hi ho gaya tha par join nahi kiya kyunki acchi job nahin hai Aadhey log join nahin karte.. issey accha to 2 saal berojgaar baitho tayyari karo aur CHSLE mein clerk lag jaao.. yar kya C*******a hai ye. Bc clerk vo bhi 2 saal drop karne ke baad better than PO. Hadd hai yar. Hum to c*****e baithe hain jaise. Salary suno clerk ki 46000 in hand without 7th pay commission. Pay commission ke baad 70000. Yahan PO ko 35000 milte hain. Yar fekne ki bhi hadd hoti hai. Sorry for my language but feeling frustrated.

Being a Banking professional, There are certain thing which I analysed during my past experience with premier Nationalised Bank, where I joined as a Bank PO after doing MBA having Prior experience with some premier IT company in India.
1. You will be posted to various branches irrespective of your qualification or experience
2. You will be given 5-7 days training which is as good as your class lecture of BE or MBA or graduation.
3. After training period you will be posted to branch directly, where you will be assigned work depends on the nature of managers or size of branches.
4. If branch is small it is possible (maximum case I had seen it is under practice in many branches) that you will be asked to handle cash counter (Don't think it's a clerk job) or sometime the cash officer table where you will be making DD/PO or if you are lucky you will be asked to make Fixed Deposit (Which is also very Irritating, Since customer mainly senior citizen will eat your all experience and qualification while filling 15G/15H form).
5. DOn't think you will be given training or in branch you will be given previlege of new joinee. Manager will tell you something like "It's onjob training, You will have to learn it by youself". In true sense he/she itself doesn't know anything about system or banking.
6. Very Important thing If you had done any mistake, You will be penalised. Everyone says 1% human error acceptable but in Banking 1% error means loss of your one month or more hard earning salary. In banking penalty is directly proportional to monetry loss. You did mistake , You will pay the loss.
7. In true sense you will never learn anything from your old collegues, infact bank will extract everything from you.
8. While doing work, it is said that you will have to work, while asking for benefit, you will be asked to show the experiences of 5 years.
9. At very first day of job you will be given the keys of the branch, in nationalised bank branch keys must be kept by officers and being a new officer you will be trained to keep the keys of bank's gate. Sometime it happens that you need to open the gate of banks or other works.
10. You don't think that in Bank you will be like a king. Even attender deny you to do any work of you and You are helpless to do anything.
I had my interview in Kolkata.
There was none to tell when to enter the room.The person before me came out and then I couldn't listen to the bell rang.A board member came out and called me in.
First introduction,two questions on my hobby
Then they asked me "why bank"?I told them the truth.As I belong to a banking family,it had been my dream to join bank as an officer.They asked about my father,uncle,about their place of work,designation etc.Suddenly the chairman told me " whether your father is PA or NPA"?I told them I don't know sir.Then they replied then tell me what is NPA?Answered.Then they told me,"a man can also be PA or NPA".Then the interview went on smoothly.Two questions on banking.One answered.One could not.They asked me about rural posting,stress in po job,promotion channel in bank etc.
What do you think why did they asked me"Is your father pa or NPA"?Is not it quite unusual.
Is there any chance they will fail me in interview?Pls be honest.

Yr ek to ye bank job bekaar hoti hai,kuch life nhi hoti ye faltu ki baat krne wala plz bhai tumko nhi krni ye job to na karo...ssc cgl bhadiya hai ye hai wo hai kya hai yaar ye sb...i know the job of ssc is better than bank po bt let me tell u one thing clearing ssc cgl is much easier than clearing bank po...i m saying this from my personal experience(in cgl 2015 ip list and given interview for po 2015)...so guys you should feel proud to be a future banker...u r better than those clearing ssc cgl...dont listen to all these demotivators
