hello , i got 95 in ibps mains, cat-SC, i am bit nervous as my second prefrence is IDBI, someone told me here that idbi is going to privatised and i read in newspaper too one month back, my first prefrence is ecgc, so what chances i have for ECGC?
Those who have good marks and asking about exim/ecgc selection then there are some facts. First of all exim is new entry and cann't predict about that but total seats in exim does not be more than 15 anyway. On the hand ecgc recruited by ibps 3 for 30 seats and in ibps 4 for 15 seats. Here comes tragedy for general category students. In ibps po 3 14 seats were for ur from 30 but they have taken only 1 ur candidate and filled gen. Seats with reserve students. In po 4 same thing happened any from 15 they again taken gen. Seats were 7 but only 1 ur candidate and other were reserved candidates. And that only selected candidate marks was 63.8. I don't know which process ibps is using for selecting candidates and i think it is flawed. I am not against reservation but jo seat 60% reservation nikal ke bachti h vo to hamme dedo. So if they do fair alloatment this year than if someone score marks above 62 has good chance because overall cutoff would be less by 2 marks and seats in these 2 would also increase. All the best to all....
Hey guys I have made a theory predicting the final cut off.
The base is last year cutoff.
Formula :-
Final cut off= (Written cutoff + Its 20%) *0.4 + (Nominal Interview Marks) *0.2
Accordingly, Last year
49.6 = (82+16.4)*0.4 + 0.2x
So x = nominal interview marks = 51.
Following same formula, This year
(76 + 15.2)*0.4 + 51*0.2
36.40 + 10.2 = 46.6.
So this years cut off will be 46.6
Lets c how it goes..
