ibps is no fool to do this kind of stuff regarding results.
ye jo hum bar bar ibps site pe jaate hai, that increases the number of hits(traffic) and also the alexa rating(if u have the toolbar) and since ibps is itself a brand, it helps it to keep its ''books'' in better health as the brand value goes up.
what say??
P.S: for newbies/non finance background, domain name is an intangible asset

This IBPS exam has become a big joke from beginning till the end.
First of all, there is no need for a Prelim exam. Prel is ussually conducted for those exams where in the 2nd stage written answers have to be evaluated eg UPSC. The reason which IBPS gives for conducting Prelim is that it wants to eliminate impersonation through the 3 teir process. Can't impersonation be detected in a 2 tier exam i.e. written + interview? 2nd reason which they give is that they want to eliminate non serious candidates. Can't this be done through a 2 tier exam system?
Second, why does IBPS release the scorecard of Qualified and not-
Qualified candidates separately?
My observation can be wrong but I feel that currently the process is unnecessarily cumbersome and they need to speed things up. I mean interviews can be conducted a month after declaration of the mains result and further after a month final result can be declared.
I am saying this because as candidates we are curious to know wheater we stand a chance or not. Too much delay just causes unnecassary speculations.

Mere chacha ke mama ke ladke ka cousin hai IBPS mein, he told ke result would be declared by 10:30 or so. They want candidates to eat well before the results come 😛

MY VIEW ABOUT IBPS PO LONG PROCESS. IBPS ki sab process online hoti hai aur uske rslt bhi jald aa jate hai BT puys did u thing ones is puri process ko khatam hone me Oct - 31st march tym lagna jaruri hai kya ? Ibps ko apni puri speed fast karni padegi kyun ki muje bhi lagta hai mains ke marks ane ke baad interview lene me itna tym kyu lete hai ...& interview ke bad bhi 2 months ka wait jaruri hai kya(1st apr ) ? Matlab new financial year ka point leke WO aisa karte hoge to 1st Apr ke bad bhi bank hi decide krte hai ki candidates ko kab bulana hai ...so ibps interview ke bad atleast final result 1mnth me to declare kare bakika hum wait krne ko tayar hai jab tak bank se mail nai ata joining ka ....tab tak ke liye hame ye to pata hoga ki hum PO bane hai ya nai ..agar bane hai to Arram karenge aur nahi bane to at least agli exam ko target karke back to study start karege
Aisa lag raha hai ki agar aaj IBPS ne marks ni bataye toh 3-4 log toh yahin par hi apni nass kaat lenge 😞
