IBPS PO-V Interview Experience ..
Bank of India , Noida .. Panel VIII .. 1pm
Document Verification started . Cooperating very well with everyone . Then I was 5th on the list so had to wait for an hour to get in .
Me : Knock Knock ! May I come in Sir ?
M1 : Sure , come in !
Went inside , took permission to sit and wished everyone on the panel .
M1 : So , what brings you here in this field after doing B.Tech .
Me : Sir , a career to bank upon .
They all started smiling . ( hehe , i was trying to be humorous )
M2 : Ok , now tell us the real reason .
Me : Sir , i didnt get placed in my final year and I knew I am way better than that . It was just that I was not serious in my graduation so I didn't study that much . Then after completing engg , I looked at other sectors where I can be of use and went for IBPS exam.
M2 : hmm , so tell us , what is the use of telecom in Banking ? (telecommunication engineering i did)
Me : Sir , Banks and Telecom should merge to surge . ( again tried to be cheeky 😛 ) . Both are in a way very much linked and we have technical support in every bank which is completely relying on Telecom and then networking of banks is again Telecom based . So banks and telecom should go hand in hand.
M3 : Why should we take you ?
Me : Sir , bcoz i am a confident person . I can convince people . I am very patient .
M4 : Ok . what are your hobbies ?
Me : Sir , i love to play snooker as it helps me to build my concentration and I used to play Cricket during my college days and nowadays I am trying to develop a new hobby of Reading .
M4 : Oh , so what are you reading ? Experiments with Truth ?
Me : No sir , i wish to read that also . But i started with Discover of India .
M1 : New age banking products ?
Me : ( I had no clue ) . Sir , Internet Banking has been a boon for Banks as it has reduced the workload . ( I paused ! )
So tell me , Rights of Banks .
Me : Sir , Right of Lien .. explained ! he stopped me then since there are 3-4 more rights and he assumed i knew those ( or maybe i am thinking that )
M1 : So you feel confident about this interview ?
Me : Yes , Sir !
Ok , you may go now !

What happens if date of birth mismatch at the time of document verification? Anybody faced this problem? (I filled 16 instead of 15)
Interview experience...... Maple wood Ranchi 1:00 pm panel 3 doc verification started at 3:30 pm during verification for dob certificate I gave xth mark sheet. They asked 4 passing certificate. I said that sir dob is written in mark sheet also. I don't have original right now. He said don't interpret by yourself, took your passing certificate. Then I went in nearby cafe and given them xerox/printout. After verification completed at 5pm. That person told me that I am fed up with u you r so careless. Then real time started. I was waiting 4 my turn and was in tense mood. Outside panelist room a girl asked me why r u so tensed? I told her story. She told me dat even I HV given mark sheet but they didn't say anything. I said what can I do?? Now I entered d room. Wishes gud eve mam and sirs. Sardar Ji in middle of them asked me kaise hai... Ap core sector me job kar rahe the kyun chhod diya?? After 25 years where do you want to see urself . I sad as an MD. After they fu***d me. Tell me roll of an MD. I don't know. Tell me roll of a Sr. Mgr. I don't know. Biggest problem currently facing by banking sector. I said NPA. Explained well. Then asked from where d word asset came?? I don't know. 1 ques of current affairs about recent bribery case of syndicate bank. I answered that. Pls guys, share our views how many marks dey will give me??? Really it was an unexpected interview...
