IBPS CWE PO/MT V (2015-16)

totally fu***ed up ..... my category (SC) cutoff - 50....I have got 78 (2 marks more thn GEN cutoff )

but couldnt clear the reasoning cutoff by 0.50 marks  :(  feeling very low 😞 😟                                 Chhan se jo tute koi sapna.....jag suna suna lage re 😞

Why they are not showing the score? What is the reason? WTH!!!! How do we know we are at the margins or ahead of cutoff?

Last year cutoff and this years cutoff analysis

Last year PO final cutoff was 49.6 and written cutoff was 82

Last Year Written 82 +Interview 85 = QUALIFIED

Since this year the cutoff itself is low consider the total cutoff to be low as well . should be around 47 .

Now  if the cutoff is 47 this year your score chart should be like this

76 MAINS + 83 INTERVIEW = QUALIFIED

80 MAINS + 75 INTERVIEW = QUALIFIED

85 MAINS + 65 INTERVIEW = QUALIFIED

90 MAINS + 55 INTERVIEW = QUALIFIED

95 MAINS + 45 INTERVIEW = QUALIFIED

100 MAINS + ...No need to calculate . almost through .

Now since the sectional cutoff has been really high this time which led to disqualification of many candidates who secured over 90 but missed by 0.5 marks or around about that ...this means there are many candidates who are just over the total cutoff ..which also means the final cutoff can further go low ....so this is my analysis .

Comments are invited

bhai ye final cut off kaise niklegi suppose i m getting 85 in written and 60 in interview than what will b my final score

Scoring 85 ,but missed computer cutoff by only .25 marks.

Ab bc btech hote hue bhi computer me qualify nai hua....

Ghar pe kis himmat se bataun.......

This is to motivate those who were close to the score but still missed it.

So IBPS PO War Phase 3 starts..... Lets get down to prepare for cracking interview...!

mother of surprise : IBPS

unexpected question

unexpected cutoff

now who knows!!!...may be unexpected final cutoff!!!!

Lets stop this cut off cut off game 😞

Is it possible that vacancies of IDBI r not included in the list as gov has decided to privatize it. 1000 vacancies around 3000 candidates less shortlisted...

Puys...

@The_Last_chance said that 76 in written and 83 in interview to qualify.. very good analysis though ... is it possible to get 83 in interview?? De dete hain itna??

For the god sake when will this discussion on final cut off marks will cease....forget about it and try to give 100% for the interview....we cant predict anything at the moment...

last year i got 67 in interview...this year how much more i can gain...and kam b ho sakte hai kya.if yes then kitne tak

?

@nammekyarkhahai  @aviswati  @GauravBaliyan  @raring_utk  @DarkAlex

Those who are not qualified comment you ga marks.

Reasons for Less Nos. Of Vacancies This Year.

1)IOB is not recruiting this time. As RBI has Imposed PCA on them so they are barred from recruiting new staffs. (-1500Posts)

2) BMB/IDBI- Due to Privatization and may be any other issue they are not recruitment as much staffs as they had recruited earlier.(-500-700Posts)

3) Manipal Turmoil, Now Andhra Bank joined the list. BOB+Andhra+Syndicate(-1500Posts Altogether)

4) Last but not the least, that 19k vacancies 80,000 vacancies all these Stuffs are purely "JUMLAS" . Thank You

those cleared ...lets start preparation for interview .... :)

Hi Guys,

I have received a lot of mails regarding How to crack IBPS PO Interview. I am very humbled to be asked this.

As you can read my Interview experience on

https://sidharthjainblog.wordpress.com/2015/11/22/ibps-po-interview-experience-2014-15/

So here I would like to explain what I couldn't cover in my experience and queries which I got from some of you.

How to Crack IBPS PO Interview:::

1. Documents you need to bring: As far as I remember, You have to carry all the original documents right from your 10th Std. to till now. Also carry your IBPS PO application form, Payslip, Admit card and all the extra-curricular activities and awards certificates. Dont forget to carry 3 xerox of each document. Carry 5-6 passport size photographs also.

2. How to Introduce yourself: This is the first basic and important thing in any interview. IBPS Interview is nowhere different. First Impression is the last impression. So, You have to put your impression on to the panelists.

I. Describe yourself precisely. Your name, City, Education, Job, and Experience, etc. You can also tell them about your family in brief.

II. Descibe your hobbies in detail.

III. Mention your qualities and strenghts.Explain your each and every strength and relate it with how Banks can benefit out of that.

3. General Banking Questions: How and from Where to prepare This is the area where there might be a couple of questions to judge your Banking aptitude. Do cover this area thoroughly. I had studied this from Arihant Prakashan Banking Aptitude book. So you can refer any good book of Banking Awareness. When you read the book, try to learn the concepts and relate it practically like what you do in your daily life in banks because most of the questions they ask are practical. For instance, What is MICR code and where do you use it.

4. Experience: Those of you who are experienced, Please mention your Experience and projects in detail. It will be an added advantage for. However, those of you are fershers have equal opportunity to get the job.

5. Some Dos and Donts:

Dos:

1. Wear proper attire.

2. Keep yourself cool throughout Interview.

3. Always smile.

4. If you don't know the answer, Simply say I am not aware about it.

Don'ts:

1. Do not chew anything.

2. Don't interrupt interviewer in between.

3. Don't start revolving around a question if you don't know the answer.

4. Don't panic.

Although Interview is one of the main part of this process, But your written score is what matters the most. What I have experienced is they give interview marks mostly in the range of 55-70 and above or below it if you perform exceptionally well or poor.

I Hope I have answered most of your questions. In case if you have still any doubt, do mail me. I shall try to answer your query.

Last but not the least, All the Best to all of you. Go with a positive mindset. Do well and Believe in yourself. You can make it.

Thanks,

Siddharth Jain
