depends on ur current level. go to their office and check with them. they will tell u the level u need to attend.

I am planning to apply for Jan 2009. Just filled up my pre evaluation.

GMAT SCORES :
1st time 690 50q 32v 4 awa
2nd time 700 49q 36v 4.5 awa

With an experience of 4yrs in IT (2-Satyam and 2- Freescale Semiconductors)
OK Acads and decent extracurriculars and some community service
Good Package(abv 10L)
Last time the pre application evaluation was encouraging .

Down Sides:
No Awards to show
No International Exposure

Do you think my cv is comparable with your admitted applications ? I mean do you think i hav a chance of getting called for jan interview.

One more question Why did you guys zero in on HEC ?
As for me I am looking for a 1yr(or 16mnths) course and thereby looking in Europe.
How does HEC measure up to

a)specilisation in finance Apr-July
b)Internship July-Sep
c)Exchange programme during Sep-Dec

or one can do only specilisation and internsip or exchange prog and internsip

Hey Harsha think you have a decent profile and would encourage you to apply...however the call depends a lot on hw u write ur essays and present urself to the adcom

Well i zeroed down on HEC mainly because of the ideal programme length ,diversity and the international feel.Also the fact that HEC offers u a lot of flexibility as compared to some other programme..besides its the top ranked programme in Europe....

As regards comparison with other b schools which u have listed would say HEC is in the same league as most of em

my profile..
i m in infosys since 3 years
1,5 yrs prev experiance..
acads good enough ...60%+
i have done DELF B1 french certification( i.e 4th level)
Fine extra curriculars..
have a toefl score of 108
Gmat ll be i guess around 680 cannot exactly say....
What are my chances?????

Hi All

Just wanted to share that i got admission to HEC for the Jan 2009 intake. I am from India but live in the US. Am now making arrangements for the move (loan, visa, etc.)

If someone would like to exchange details about logistics etc. please private message me.

By the way, i was able to get employment, salary, and such other stats on HEC on the web in the past but haven't found much on the internet lately. If someone can send links or info on this, i would appreciate it. Need to share this info with a friend who is applying for next year's intake.

I am open to take questions on the admission process/experience.

Harsha I think it depends on the requirements of each school.Generally you are required to send a scan copy first ,followed by a hard copy mailed to the school.

Hii it depends on ur essays and refernces and how well u write ur application.Your GMAT score is around the avg GMAT score reqd at HEC..(TOFEL is not reqd).Best of luck

On the hard copy yes you have to mail these docs(by courier) once you have submitted the soft copy of the form..
On the scanned certificates u would need to submit them in case a link opens for submitting these after submitting the pdf appln form..(dont remember for sure)

I had applied for 2009 in August. but still havent heard from the school. I am
ot sure if i have been rejected or was my application too late considering a lot of Indian students have already been admitted,

My gmat is 700 and i have 4yrs of work ex including some onsite exposure.

Please give your inputs on the admission process and whether i applied too late.
