Hey Puys,
I read something on Sergeant's Structure and thought of sharing with you. Sergeant's Structure basically talks about writing and communication pattern. As per Sergeant's Structure your composition/communication should fall in this pattern for being effective:
1. Tell the audience what are you gonna write about.
2. Tell the audience about the issue.
3. And finally Tell the Audience what you have told them.
Though I have not followed it, I am planning to follow it. Comments invited.

1) I think you should work on the looks of your blog. Content is good, people want to read it.
2) Provide the email updates to your users. Its free from feedburner. Put feedburner on google to know more about it.
3) "I recommend" plugin of your blog is not working. Check whats the problem.
4) I don't think there is any need to show your traffic to your users. Users need good content, they are not bothered with how many people are visiting your site. (This is my personal opinion)
