What is the best way to prepare for GMAT - self study / online prep or coaching classes ? If coaching classes is preferable please suggest good options in Mumbai ?

Greetings.

I intend to take GMAT in next 6 months. I have no prior idea regarding it. I feel am good in Quants but I need to work on verbal section. Presently am reading English books, both fiction and non fiction.

I am too scared to take a mock test right now as low marks can demotivate me. Suggest what should I go through before looking at mock tests ? I want to work at my basics for first couple of months. What is your opinion about Wren and Martin, High School Grammar ?

I will be more than happy to help in Quants to anyone. I don't think I will be much of a help for verbal. I had a decent score at CAT in past. I have already finished my MBA from Nirma University. Please don't ask why GMAT.

Hi,

I have very recently started preparing for the GMAT. I have taken the diagnostic test and realize that I will need to revise all the concepts for quant first before getting started with the practice problems.

Can anyone suggest me a course material to follow using which I can start with the basics and then gradually move up the level. Can someone help me come up with the right strategy to follow for the preparation?

660 on both attempts, screwed verbal last time and surprisingly, since i am engineer, screwed quant this time while covering up decently on verbal. Targeting 750. Any inputs on preps?
