Hi Vidhi,i have already given the GMAT on 28th dec,got 630(Q39,V37).Quant was going well during the exam,dont know how i bombed it.I am mostly retaking this month end.I have applied to 6 colleges in US but with my 630 score,i doubt if i have a chance.can u give ur mail id so we can discuss and u can also share few tips for quant.

Hi Everyone,
It has been long time and I was away due to loads of work, however, one favor from anyone of you can make a the life easier for early birds like me as it is quite confusing which book, question bank and series or test pack to be considered. Although lot of name like Manhattan, Kepler, etc, etc, etc......is all people keep talking about.
I just a need a list of recommended books or test series with respect to different sections of GMAT and which will be truly helpful. I will look forward if anyone can help me out whoever is stays close by Santacruz West or I can visit them. You can also reach me on ramkrishnanigam(at)gmail(dot)com.

I am kinda new to the GMAT Front. But I have always dreamt of attending the Harvard Business School. Also I have a 4-year gap in my engineering degree(Thanks to Maths). Can I still apply for an MBA through GMAT. BTW I do Have around 5 years of Work Experience.
3 years in admin, 1 year in a Domestic BPO and 1 year in Social Media/ORM.
Also I would like to know any classes which I can join to learn the basics first.

can someone suggest me what books to follow for quants..im done with OG13th Edition,i am not yet satisfied with my quants knowledge...people have suggested Manhattan ,Kaplan..iam confused as among kaplan manhattan itself there are many books.i want a solid book on basics and then move on to advanced problems.

It has been created by Bobby Umar, who is the lead author for Barron's New GMAT text book that will be released in early 2014. He is based out of Canada and has been teaching GMAT at top teir test prep companies such as Kaplan and Veritas for the last 15 years. So, quite obviously he is a GMAT guru and we can all learn loads from him.
Why is it free?
